What did you think of the ending? totally agree with this statement - "but he also has this incredible sweetness…
His smirks... i will miss them so...
At first I was confused by the ending, but then I got it (at least I think I got it lol) so I really liked it. I think they made it confusing on purpose, so that it would be less predictable, but I don't think it's as deep as other people seem to think it is. Once I "got it" i rewatched the end scenes again to confirm, also because I'm going through withdrawal now :(
Can someone explain the ending scene to me please? I'm confused.
This is what I think happened (so many spoilers lol)
It's open ended but I think Jin Sung couldn't kill him (thus all that crying), so he probably comes up with a way to get him out of there before his family is killed.
I think the Oh Soo they are bringing flowers to at the end is the dead brother at the lake. If it was the other one, he would act much more guilty... and be in prison.
I think con man Oh Soo survived, and started a new life away from Yeoung because, once he knew she was ok, he didn't want to face her yet, just be around her. I'm sure he had to recover too. He probably also wanted to get his life together (his restaurant). She was too busy having chemo to focus on him like that.
She knew he was at the restaurant, and that's why she kept going there, but he wouldn't speak to her, so she couldn't say it was him for sure. The bracelet makes it kinda obvious, but she never saw it, only heard it.
They also seem to get off on this back and forth denying the obvious thing lol
I think he stopped in front of her on the bike to see if she'd notice, or say anything to him. He kept going because she pretended not to see him.
The hazy effect isn't because he's dead, it's because she can kinda see now.
I think it's a beautiful, though truly confusing, ending.
Ok, so Soo survived the stabbing but Jin Sung and Hee Sun think he's dead. Ok, Soo has to be thought of as dead…
the ending could mean a lot of things, but I think that either Jin Sung had a change of heart and helped him escape, and now they pretend he's dead OR (what I really think) is Jin Sung helped him escape and the Oh Soo they were talking about is the brother (remember that they brought him flowers the first time they visited the lake). I wish it was less ambiguous, but I'm convinced the crying was meant to show that Jin Sung would stay loyal till the end.
Bad I spent one day on it. That was unnatural, slow and boring. I watched because I wanted to fill myself with…
i thought it was the opposite. I mean they killed off people in the first episode. i wouldn't call that slow paced, but I also like tension. if you are not into tension building you can easily get bored.
I had high expectations for the first episode, but contrary to what everyone thought to me it sucked hard. The…
I agree too. It's much more of an over the top melodrama than I expected, so it threw me off for the first three episodes. Song Joong Ki is so damn cute that I couldn't look away, and now I'm hooked.
I had to drop Please Come Back Ahjussi though... Rain... I can't...
