You think straight girls can't like BL without wanting to be involved sexually? (This completely doesn't address…
Right? like what type of fckass question is that π It's art! You enjoy the story & the relationship between two characters, does the gender really matter? And this isn't Y/n fanfic from Wattpad that viewers would be imagining themselves with the leads π
I agree OMG. His actions were unbearable but damn he was sculpted by gods
Omg yessss I love complex characters & this guy especially was so contradicting & mysterious that he had me thinking about him wayyyy after his runtime ended π
Also, note to self - If you ever end up dating a philosopher, please find out their research area first (+1 trauma) π₯²

Fr! He had me screaming 'RED FLAG! RUN AWAY!!!!" at the screen within the first few minutes they met π
But their relationship was honestly VERY passionate. Hence why Go Young was so deeply hurt when they ended things. He wasn't ready to give up on him even after reading his research & the events that happened at the park and I could somehow understand all of it even though I knew it wasn't the best option π
I am so ready binge the series and get the full experience so I can lay broken in bed for a few days lol π₯²
Same it's fucking with my head more than the switching of the languages depending on the speaker
Oof, totally forgot to tell you about 'The Time of Fever'! It's a prequel to Go Ho Tae & Dong Hee's story from 'Unintentional Love Story'. The acting, cinematography, plot & color grading are just *chef's kiss* Personally, the whole vibe felt very reminiscent of a fever dream or like a distant memory of a summer love, giving it that ethereal yet painful nuance. It's angsty, & heartbreaking yet consoling at the same time, idk how π₯Ή
Their chemistry is beautiful & it's a whole experience as you go through their journey with them. Would definitely recommend cause to me, it's one of the more cinematic pieces in the BL world. It's simply beautiful π₯Ή
Same it's fucking with my head more than the switching of the languages depending on the speaker
Oh for this show, all the episodes dropped at once! I guess I left that out π But yes, in regards to the ending, that's what I've heard too π It's a beautiful story with a heartbreaking ending from what I could gather π₯Ή
I am actually SO ready for this show to ruin me lol. It's been a while since I've watched something that I couldn't get over so hopefully this does the job when I get to it π₯²
Weak Hero Class 1 was probably the last one that left me in shambles (It's high key a BL imo) & Love for Love's Sake was what imprinted itself in my heart so badly that I still haven't finished the last 2 episodes cause I don't want it to end lmao π
Same it's fucking with my head more than the switching of the languages depending on the speaker
Thank you lol Also, Love in the Big City just dropped on Viki 15 minutes ago so u can even check it out rn if u like. One thing I can guarantee about that show is that it's gonna make u laugh, cry, blush & leave a gaping hole in your heart π₯²
I am absolutely DYING to watch it rn but I have exams going on & I just know that if I start watching, I won't be able to emotionally recover for at least a few days after & will essentially get no studying done π
Same it's fucking with my head more than the switching of the languages depending on the speaker
Omg, ok so 'Let free the curse of Taekwondo' has already aired 2 episodes & managed to have us viewers completely wrapped around it's finger π No surprise there since we expected this to happen once it was announced that it was THE Hwang Da Seul's aka Mother of KBLs newest project π
Lucky for u, Love in the Big City (the drama) is airing tomorrow (Oct 21)!!!! I believe all the episodes are dropping at once. The reason about why there's so much hype surrounding it's release is bc it's the first ever MAJOR BL to come out of SK. It's being funded by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency which means they have GOVERNMENT funding for a BL! This is a HUGE deal for Korea since they have a vastly conservative population. What's even more impressive is that it's being released on a major Korean streaming platform, TVing (which is basically as widely used as cable tv I think - not 100% sure). The show is based off of a novel & even has Nam Yoon Su, a mainstream actor playing the main gay lead - a huge milestone in the quality & reach of KBLs imo. Unfortunately he received a lot of hate from his so called "fans" & some conservative groups even protested against the release of this drama & got the trailer take down temporarily (insane behavior if u ask me since they have more pressing matters to tend to like, hmmm, let me think, raging misogyny among all age grps & settings, deepfake crimes happening against women on a national scale, predators & r*pists roaming free or just on probation!). But this absolute DIVA was unbothered & even mocked the haters at the show's press conference by basically saying "I just laughed at the hate comments & don't give a flying fck lol" π
You really should check it out! It's so much fun with all their interviews & freshly released content!
AAAHHHHH MY PARENTS ARE HERE π In ep 2, when Do Ho tries to kiss Ju Yeong outside but he dodges, he goes on to suggest kissing at the underpass but Do Ho says "Who even kisses at an UNDERPASS". Omg I can't believe I missed this the first time but it's a reference to 'To My Star 2' π It's a shade to THAT scene at the beginning of ep 5 where Ji Woo & Seo Joon kiss at an underpass at night ππ I'm SOBBINGGGG OMFG (,,β₯οΉβ₯,,)
Gonna have to keep my eyes peeled for more easter eggs now π₯Ή
As was the matter with TMS2, I trust HDS to give us ANGST angst, but then also patch up their relationship & give us a sweet satisfactory ending. Just hope that she doesn't make us cry too hard π₯Ή
This is such a well produced drama, everything from the planning & storyline to the execution was done to perfection and it's visible within just 2 episodes. The leads have impeccable chemistry & really bring through the innocence of teenage firsts. The excitement, giddiness, hesitance and confusion all come together to make for an amazing experience for the audience.
I'm honestly impressed by how HDS was able to establish the 2 MLs relationship in the first 2 episodes without making it feel rushed! Many dramas struggle with this aspect even after airing 8 episodes but she was able to do this in just under an hour! Truly the Queen of KBLs π

You're just supposed to cry your eyes out lol
Couldn't be happier for the both of them π
Unprovoked??? π

And then burn through the book too π«
Hyun Woo is built like a literal chocolate bar, but Go Young didn't even give them gorgeous abs a lick? Why directors? Wae??? π
I'd be slobbering over them from the get go, just saying π₯²
I don't think I'll be the same ever again π

I thought you meant the text, as in what I said. Not the animation
So in that case, yeah, it is copy pasta π
I wrote the whole thing myself π₯²
It's the way that Do Ho's face just lights up when he sees Ju Yeong with an umbrella, coming to pick him up & runs to him with the stupidest grin on his face π©
And Ju Yeong is smiling at him equally entranced & wiping away at his coat π
Lemme just π₯²
