It's better not to think about accuracy while watching the show. Just the beginning or when they first fly with…
Yeah the helicopter scene was straight up bs and fantasy lmao 😂 They took off the patient's lid midair and that too by making a hole in his skull with a chisel? Never mind that the hole has to be absolutely precise with the help of technology for mapping for proper location, but the trauma to the skull because of brute force from hammering could have severely damaged the patient's spine or other speech/movement areas of the brain! They’re breaking sterile code & medical compliance at every turn so this was just my breaking point lmao. I guess it also bothers me a bit more since I’m studying in the medical field so it stands out more like a sore thumb. The dissonance in some scenes is more apparent than the other and this ended up being one of those for me :/
Oh well, like u said, the surgeries & medical component is more of a stylistic device to deliver the more prominent part of the show, the struggles of the trauma team, and it IS a drama after all so there's only so much we can expect. It's still very enjoyable & well done so the drama deserves the praise it gets. But yeah, I just wanted to present my point on what I found to be a bit of a gap in the medical compliance aspect but other than that, it is quite entertaining 😂
Ok, so it was bearable so far with the medical accuracy but I'm currently halfway through Ep 4 and they just let…
But that surgical glove & endoscope move was so big brain & requires absolute precision & skill my goodness - he's really shown to have exceptional skills
Ok, so it was bearable so far with the medical accuracy but I'm currently halfway through Ep 4 and they just let two doctors who hadn't scrubbed into the OR??!! The sterile field atp is broken beyond repair & irl, they'd have to start over with the surgery, not to mention you just CANNOT enter DURING a surgical procedure WHILE the patient is literally cut open???? This point was kind of inexcusable & broke the immersion for me so bad. Now I get why Ju Ji Hoon said he argued with the director for one of the scenes, it must've been this one ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I'm betting my money on this being released in December like all it's preceding seasons 🫠Welp - gotta stay alive until at least the end of this year...
Can I just say that the OSTs are abso-fucking-lutely bangin'! They add so much more to a scene whenever they start playing in the bg - excellent timing and build-up! The fight scenes hit harder, the thrill and anticipation rises and just overall such a vibe man - I LOVE IT!
Ji Yeon deserves so much more omg ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ DEX COME ON step up your game my man, talk to her after the show if you like her, and give us the updates!!! Otherwise, I'm swooping in and shooting MY shots - the girl's too fine to be single ðŸ˜
it's a miracle they didn't bury his career after BL
Actually, we've gotten quite a few rising actors who started with KBLs in these past few years. Won Tae Min from You Make Me Dance, Park Jae Chan from Semantic Error, Son Woo Hyun & Kim Kang Min from TMS. Most recently, Choo Young Woo has been gaining popularity with the Tale of Lady Ok & Trauma Code; he was in YMMD as well. And ofc, we've got Cha Woo Min.
Idk, the BL genre itself is becoming more accepted in Korea due to an array of factors. I think a positive influence is also being cast upon Korea in terms acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community because of globalized media and the apparent influx of interactions with International, and more open minded individuals. The younger generation is generally more progressive so we have that going too. The genre's integration into mainstream media thanks to the likes of 'Love in the Big City' & actors like Nam Yoon Su talking openly about it has brought upon controversy which most certainly brings along change. But I would definitely attribute Western interest in Kdramas as the biggest contributor to Korea becoming more open to homosexual relationships. Take Squid Games S2 for instance, the cast literally has PROMOTIONAL content where they react to their BL edits lmao - something that would've been unthinkable a few years ago but now it's possible cause it sells lol. Back when Kdramas were more so limited to catering to only the Korean population, the writers were more wary of criticism & their works being shunned for their potentially controversial themes, now though, the production is for a much wider audience so even if a few Koreans disapprove of a particular genre or plotline, writers are much more willing to take the risk since there's a larger demographic out there getting attracted to the work BECAUSE of that genre. Now the biggest reason for these BL actors not ending up with "dead careers" simply from starring in BLs can be attributed to their talent! Yes the drop in prejudice has helped, but it's the potential that most directors look for. Just my speculation but since more of the popular actors from older generations are starting to age up and not taking as many projects, they're definitely looking for more new talents to fill up those spots; so what better place to look than BLs, where both the leads are handsome lol (just kidding btw, I'm not that shallow)
Anyways, that was my rant... Sorry, didn't mean for it to end up being so long 😅
I seriously need Cha Woomin to go back to his roots and star in a BL y'all 😠I've been begging for a badass character that's morally gray or heck just an action, thriller genre like bloodhounds but with an actual romantic interest. Like imagine him beating ppl's asses and smirking in their faces but when he turns to his one person he melts and smiles and goes all soft & uwu and dotes on them endlessly ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ He'd absolutely eat that shit up 😤
First off, this drama really does keep getting better and better as the story progresses & is hilarious af 😂Second…
Ok, so after watching episode 4, my comment just gets completely pooped on cause the fight sequence with that gang recruiter was even more unbelievable 😂 Oh well, keep bringing on the improbabilities, they're abso-fucking-lutely entertaining 😂😂

Second off, that jump sequence from the 4th floor of the school building at the end of episode 3 absolutely floored me lmao. Like seriously, miss me with that bullshit of him jumping from at least 10m high (possibly 12) and landing on his feet as light as a feather while delivering that perfectly timed punch? Even a person that has strong bones and trains regularly would not survive jumping that high. Definitely made me go "yeah, that's fantasy - things like that can only exist in dramas." We have gravity, acceleration and an upward normal force at work in real life, so realistically, a stunt like that would result in shattered shins, ankles, dislocated knees, no questions asked, along with possible damage to the internal organs + spine lmao. I know it's only fiction & on top of that an action drama so the action sequences are supposed to be dramatic but this one was just way over the top in it's apparent dissonance with reality & laws of physics so I wanted to geek out lol
But other than that, I'm really enjoying this so far :)
Umm... you do know that Feb only has 28 days right? 29 if it's a leap year. So under no circumstances or by miracle would this ever be released on Feb 30 lol
I think you should just drop it. Or at least stick to just dating girls. Men are not for you. You will end up…
The fuck are you so obsessed with my sexual orientation for? You're acting like an obsessive little freak and keep forcing down your "image" of me - like the fuck? Stop acting like you know me and start trying to figure what you're being so nosy for.
And whoever the fuck I like is none of your business so I don't see why you keep trying to make it yours? I'd never talk let alone date someone like you so stop with the freaky comments Karen
I seriously hope Dex somehow reaches out to Ji Yeon if she doesn't pair up with someone so they can get to know each other better after the show ends! He genuinely looks interested in her and they'd be so cute together ðŸ˜

Here we go again with the judgmental comments... Oh well, as if I care what a rando on the internet has to say about me.
But thanks for being so concerned that you write a paragraph each time - I'm flattered really. And you can tone it down with the projection, I'm more than happy with my current life which surprisingly (for you) consists of RATIONAL and open-minded individuals who love and understand me. For the nth time, you really need to stop thinking you can go around telling people what to do.
Anyways, you're welcome to come to my lab for a stereotactic biopsy, maybe we can diagnose you and help with all the hysteria and getting triggered over strangers on the internet unprovoked :)

I'm more than capable of writing my own research papers and assignments thank you very much. In fact, I'm pretty sure I'd do a much better job on any assigned piece of work than you given how poor your interpretation and analysis skills are.
I'd tell you to find a better job but then again, employers don't hire candidates with weak reading comprehension and interpersonal skills. Also, I'd rather not continue this fun little conversation anymore, I have better things to do :)

Ps. I edited my comment after posting like a 100 times, I'm sorry u had to read 50 different versions 💀
Just gonna add Lee Je Hoon & Kim Nam Gil to the list too!
