Just hopping on here to say that I was so intrigued by the whole of South Korea collectively losing it over a SINGULAR FICTIONAL character that I decided to give this series a try as well, even though the plot wasn't really my taste. Only for me to end up bawling my eyes out in the first 8 minutes of episode 1π I get it now, I really do ππ
Excuse me while I go cry over this fictional character some more π₯Ή
I came here for Solar & Xiumin but there's no sign of them in the 1st episode :( From the preview, it seems like they aren't in the second episode either! Hope they'll be there for the entirety of the show from 3rd episode onwards π€
What is the Hollywood Thriller is this?!? π Ok, right off the bat, the opening with it's music and editing is very reminiscent of Hollywood productions, which is a nice change. The whole undercover intro was so fun to see and the team dynamics are just hilarious π€£ Everyone's bringing their A-game so I have a few expectations in terms of performance, but the overall plot could potentially end up being a mess. We'll see. But so far, it looks really funny and I'm sat!
This was so action packed MY GOD π Loved every second of the last 2 episodes! But ngl, I was totally expecting the regenerative muscles they transplanted into Chae Woon to start healing him and the blood to start making more platelets lol - lost opportunity imo :(
And the plot twists went crazy for this one! Never expected it to play out this way!
Theory - Yoon Jae's brain was preserved as well as her body, and now they're gonna look for a way to bring her back (like she wanted to do for her sister) That, or they put her memory inside Jang Yeongsil somehow
Eh, it was good while I was watching it, but I kinda just forgot about it after like a day.
The cinematography, acting, and editing was done well, but the overall directing and story-telling could've been WAYYY better cause for me, the first half felt like the parent story with a lot of plot holes while the second half felt like a sequel. I personally quite liked the concept of the first half, if they had explained more of why the family moved to America, delved more into the symptoms the rich family was facing and given a few shots of the grandfather from the past, I feel like it would've made the story feel a lot more richer and complete. Not to mention how we knew close to nothing about the main characters and their past. For KGE we get a few flashbacks of **her practicing under the supervision of her grandma as well as those random car shots of her in the backseat** but there's really no backstory to make us connect with her! Also the other two women who take care of LDH in the hospital also got introduced randomly? We literally do not know where they came from or what relation they have to the main leads! The most I think I can remember is that **they might've practiced shamanism with KGE's character?**. Lmao it's only been like a week since I watched it, but I already forgot half of the story, not really that memorable imo. That being said, the second half was decent too but the dissonance between the two halves of the story felt very apparent, with the second half relying heavily on Japanese folklore.
Overall, you're not really missing out on some masterpiece if you don't watch Exhuma. But I'd recommend that you do watch it just for the experience lol. I quite enjoyed the visuals of the movie.
oh my god I love the drama but I'm confused whose dating who
It was really only Heo Seong that was confirmed to be dating (RIP pookie π), all the others were just speculations. Woo Jae (the current PM) and his dad are the only ones assuming Ja Yu and Chae Woon are dating but they're actually not (I wouldn't mind if they do π). As for On San and Secretary Jeong, it's really only Jeong who has a crush on the researcher and that too was revealed only in ep 8 ( I do doubt the credibility of this claim given the events that took place in that ep). Also, it's kind of implied that On San likes Ja Yu but we know for sure that Ja Yu doesn't reciprocate his feelings. Otherwise, I think the relations are pretty obvious.
If you're still confused about any pairing, feel free to ask lol
This drama really isn't for passive watchers. U need to be attentive and follow the clues and conversations closely to understand what's happening cause otherwise, if you miss even 2 seconds, they'll rule out a suspect or introduce a new culprit, or be asking for 60 patients for clinical trials and you won't know why lmao A really fun and engaging watch so far. Makes me look forward to Wednesdays (sad that it's ending in a week π’)
Y'all this whole time I thought he was married and had a kid lmaoπ That's why I had no hopes for romance (adultery is not pretty) but this... This changes things π
Definitely. One of the best shows of 24. Wonder why many are not showing interest to it.
My guess is that most casual fans are watching the more "popular" dramas since they are being promoted heavily, especially since those that have romance, and so they fail to notice hidden gems that actually show a good story and not just pretty faces and sets.
Anyone looking for decent subs, head over to the HiTV app. That's where I watched it as well. If you're on pc or laptop, just install bluestacks and then get HiTV on there
OMG hiiii! I'm OT4 too! I can't pick between them either (changes every video tbvh) but Wheein has been reigning over my Spotify playlist for 2 years now and I can't possibly resist the dimple π₯Ή
Oml, I'm so excited for Solar's comeback tomorrow!! AAAAHHH Can't believe we're getting Solar doing a rock band concept! And the House EDM for 'Colours' with voguing is so gonna slay me π«
Definitely watch this! it's most definitely worth it and a comfort show for me to watch when I'm stuck on what…
Just finished the 1st ep and it's definitely cute! The first meeting was unique and interesting and it's so funny how one of them is cold to the other. "I hope there won't come a time when I'll have to take care of you" - oh honey, you don't even know how wrong you are. In 4 episodes, you're gonna be begging WonYoung to let you take care of him lol.
Also damn, we're going for the chin grab already???? I was ready to throw hands at him just a few seconds ago but then he was crowding WonYoung against the wall and I was like "ok, go on" π
My fave part of this ep was definitely the seagull cameo at the beach lol
This drama is more on the slow-side and wasn't really able to hook me in from the start so I'm guessing I'm gonna have to power through about 2ish episodes before things pick-up. Gonna head to sleep for the night and pick it up tomorrow cause my brain's falling asleep lol
I get it now, I really do ππ
