I really liked this, came back to this page months after watching this show to say i think episode 5 is my favorite. It just scratched and itch in my brain, this episode felt like one of those (old-timey) detective tropes where everyone is isolated in one place while a murder happend (basically every other episode of detective conan lol) This is not the best crime thiller i've watched, but i must say i really liked the characters. I wish we got more of the poor Guy who was murdered right in the beginning lol.

Yes it's totally weird to sympathies with one and not the other. Also yj was a psychopath so......... 🙃
Yeah and? Still not the definition of a psychopath. If he has anti-social personality disorder he's a sociopath at most. Just because you don't know what a psychopath is and call anyone vaguely murderous one, doesn’t mean he is lol. I mean i get it, most people get it wrong because of pop culture.

Just because he had no sympathy for his victims doesn’t make him a psychopath lol. A psychopath would have made the revenge about themself and they wouldn't be so upset at their brother for not loving them anymore. He behaves more like a little kid in my opinion.

The problem is that, if this drama is based on how the law in South Korea is, maybe it could help a bit to know…
No one got punished in the real life case and that one was way worse than the one in the show, more than 500 people died and many more killed themselves because of their experiences.. so i doubt any of the rapists/child abusers got jail time in the show (besides the few we saw arrested, but i think that was more because of recent times than their old crimes. Crazy Dog killed another 4 people, Sungjoons mother and the Police Chief did a contract killing etc. The other crimes all have passed statue of limitations (besides the child murders, but they are hard to prove. Crazy Dog said he was the one who killed 20+ kids, so the other ones did just neglect/abuse resulting in death and child rape. Which again has passed the statue of limitations. I guess that's why the show didn't show the real villains at the end. Would be more mad at them basically getting away with it except maybe ruined reputation.

What are the plotholes that you noticed? I see a lot of people mentioning “plotholes”, but I don’t know…
I mean it was pretty obviously Yoon jae trying to frame Song Joon. They only stopped that when Song Hoon realized that Crazy Dog was after Song Joon and would kill him.

nawt some of the people here thinking YJ and SH were justified in their little revenge plan y'all need to enroll…
The thing is though, i get why they chose the killing route even though i do think the four girls shouldn't have died. Every single of their crime has already passed the statue of limitations so it's impossible for any of the child rapists to get to jail. Even if they did, it would have been 5-10 years at most and maybe a ruined reputation. And they can't prove that 20+ of the kids where murdered. They can only prove they died of abuse and i'm pretty sure the statue of limitations has run out for that as well. South Korea has horribly bad laws against child abuse in general, they try to change this currently but still nothing has changed. Even everyone in the real life case (where over 500 people died mind you) never went to jail.

She would be punished for what exactly? What would be her criminal charges? Legally speaking, I don’t think…
Well she did cover up a crime and i think it's called "failure to provide assistance" in english, this is a crime in my country, no idea if it's in sk. But it was long ago and she seems to be mentally ill so i doubt she would get a setence. I think feeling like shit is enough punishment. I guess Yoon Jae wanted to kill her anyway, Soon Hoon disagreed though which is why he agreed to stopping Yoon Jae from killing her and the other kidnapping victims (even though some of them would have had it coming)

plot was great but i wish jung insung didnt die
Honestly, he went out the way he wanted. Otherwise he would have been trapped in a cage just like when he was younger (or he might have even got a single person cell or the death penalty) so i feel like he wanted to die anyway, just not before killing Crazy Dog. At least he died knowing Crazy Dog was dying with him.
