Y'all are so fucking annoying sometimes. Of course there is "slow" character development and a lot of build up that doesn't get revolved yet, this is basically a 20 episode drama!! They wrote this with season 2 already in mind. Media literacy really is dead, huh?
Asking for a lie detector doesn't mean he was innocent in any way. He admitted to the usage of drugs but denied…
what crime? The test came negative, he hasn't taken any drugs in the last ten months at least, if ever. Also drug use is hardly something bad if you aren't hurting anyone lol.
the drugs laws in Korea and Japan gotta be lax esp for something like marijuana!! sexual abusers don’t get this…
and what's even worse, he was proven "innocent" and his career was still ruined!!! I guess for some k netizens you aren't innocent before proven guilty, you are guilty regardless of your innocence.
I'm sad that the og writer and female lead dropped out and probably won't be joining again, but it's in production again and they are casting new leads!
I'm confused. The Killer's shopping list takes place in the same universe as this drama, written by the same author and the story is from the same (?) book. Then why are characters from The Killer's shopping list seemingly different characters here? Is it like an anthology series? Is this just a mistake on mdl? Anyway, i hope i get to see "Fish" and other characters from the Killer's shopping list again, even if it's just a cameo.
I mean it sounds interesting and the genre is right up my alley, but i am worried this is yet again another in-sensitive and wrong portrail of aspd. It does seem like the typical "people with aspd are evil and want to kill people" given that the FL killed someone. I really had enough of these kind of portrails years ago... with so much information out there, there is really no excuse to get the disorder wrong these days, but they still get it wrong for drama/plot reasons lol.
Listen to yourselves! Is South Korea running out of ideas?
webtoon came out in 2019 tho. Also, how is it "running out of ideas" when it's this creative? You complain about dramas that all feel the same, but when a drama has a crazy plot/weird premise or just tries something different, you also complain!
Gotta be honest, i started disliking "straight" romance a little over the years because it's just EVERYWHERE. It's so hard to find shows where there isn't romance or love drama or a love triangle or some sexual tension (if there is an FL and ML). Even if there isn't a romance between leads, some sort of supporting character has a romance going on anyway.
I think the only type of straight romance i like if characters are absolutely devoted to eachother. And with that i mean that intense tension and devotion to their partner in a "i would die/kill for you" type of way. (that isn't necessarily in romantic or sexual nature, but just a very interesting layered relationship).
This is also usually why i prefer queer romance, be it subtext or intented. This type of relationship is just more common in non-canon relationships like in bromances or sismances that edge on the queerness a lot. I headcanon so many of my "straight" ships as queer anyway xD.
I also relate to Queer Romance more honestly, i will never have a "straight" romantic relationship, if ever any romantic relationship at all. I can't really root for a romantic relationship if i am aromantic lol.
"White washed humin" Y'all just be saying anything atpFirst of all "Whitewashing" is used when you cast a WHITE…
Your wild if you think koreans don't whitewash lol. They put on make-up to appear lighter, they edit videos and pictures and they tend to have bad views of anyone who is dark skinned or has a darker tan (obviously not everyone, but it is VERY common. Just look at the experiences of tan koreans or immigrats or visitors of the country). Just look up the actual webtoon character, he is a LOT more tan. In comparision Ryeoun is white as a sheet lol. Also, Humin speaks spanish. It's very likely he is biracial, even if this wasn't confirmed.
I’m confused… does anyone know if I’m supposed to watch this before I watch take of the nine tailed? Are…
Tale of the Nine-tailed is the first season, Tale of the Nine-tailed 1938 is the second season. You actually don't need to watch season 1 if you aren't interested in a romance plot, since everything is recapped in tale of the nine-tailed 1938. So you can just start where you want to.
I loved Inspector Koo and this actress, i can't wait for the episode! A friend of mine pointed out this is a french series remake, so i hope this one is good enough so i can recommend this to them xD.
where'd you get the news that all 200 chapters will be condensed into 1 season?
I mean i kinda expect it. At least for Sweet Home season 3 was announced from the start, no such thing here. It's rare for Kdrama to go over two seasons and they are already showing Donald Na as a main role, he came more prevelent towards the last season of the webtoon. I could be wrong though, maybe they will make multiple seasons lol.
Not sure how i feel about the cast :(. Were is the rest of my boys? They better not cut them out. Also, not sure if i think the actors fit... of course they withewashed Humin. I kinda expected that and the actor doesn't even look hunky either. Sad.
I still hope they give them at the very least a unique style if they don't color their hairs. It would be so boring if everyone just has black hair and a similar haircut.
8 episodes i bad too, they can't fit 200+ chapters into less than 8 hours. Weak Hero Class is a pretty bad adapation tbh.
Weak Hero should have just been an anime and the kdrama should have just changed it's name and done it's one thing instead of being an adaptation, because if you don't look at it as such, it's pretty good.
I sound so negative, but i think both fans of season 1 and webtoon fans will be disappointed by this. The kdrama fans because basically all storylines of season 1 will never appear again (they don't even exist in the webtoon for the most part) and the webtoon fans because they will take out our favorite scenes and possible characters xD.

Wow this comment got way to long xD
