omds Cuiye & his tesuji! I’m glad this drama portrays their relationship v realistically. They have their disagreements & Xiasheng’s temper gets the best of him sometimes - (but it makes sense, boy’s still young & is going through mourning his brother while on the run). Despite their arguments, they always get back on track towards their shared goal, I’m enjoying the depth to the characters that this drama presents.
ahhh eps 5-8 were crazy! I love how each ep ends with something that makes me feel like I NEED to know what happens next.
also I’m so glad ep 7 onwards incorporated a bit more of the aspects of go, like the way cuiye aligns his moves in go to his moves in his plans makes it sm more interesting
Both MLs look similar i constantly hv to double take.
lmao right! in ep 1 I thought it was the same actor doing dual roles till I came here & checked the cast list 😂 it’s nice seeing it tho, I’ve seen so many dramas where “sibling” characters look SO un-alike! these 2 are doing a great job & their appearances make it even more realistic. I managed to start telling the difference after the first couple eps anyway
It was a little too much, especially for a Korean female. It even made me uncomfortable.
hmm I’m glad someone else thought that too. she’s certainly got guts! but I felt it was a bit too intense esp for a first date w a guy she’s only known for like 3 days.
she could’ve got her point across (that she wants him to not just view her as a friend) within the first couple of flirting lines but she kept going throughout & even when they got back which I thought could come across as too forward. but obviously everyone’s got different tastes, some people might be into that type of confidence
why’s everyone pitying the monster & calling it a “human”? 😭😭 idc what its background story is, it’s evil now - literally sat there ready to eat baby mashiro
haneul’s flirting was STRONG! even as a viewer I was surprised haha 😂no wonder jimin looked flustered. I found it impressive she could be that bold but I’m also wondering if it could’ve been too intense/cringe
As much as I’m entertained and loving some of these cute interactions, I’ve been burned by dating shows before….(pointing…
this is a great comment! it’s so true & sometimes as a viewer, I don’t even think much about how these participants are literally just everyday people who want to try something new. thanks for the reminder 😊
huh? I’m in the middle of ep 5, I’m shocked at how the teacher’s publically naming & shaming kids w lower grades at the teacher parent conference. is that normal in China??
I watched a couple eps & unfortunately I’ve dropped it. It’s nowhere near as good as the Korean version. The mixed-race siblings were too obvious 😂 clearly that’s not their fault but why did they cast siblings who look so alike? It makes the concept a bit pointless.
Also the way it’s edited from the eps I’ve seen, it barely lets us see much of their characters. The Korean version lets you get to know the participants a bit so you actually want to root for them. This version really lacks that. Also idk if it’s makeup or filters but the participants are so whitewashed 😭 everytime they look paler onscreen I’m like ???
I understand WH's mom too but its too late. They already love each other and whether or not he marries her, he…
That’s a good point about making medical decisions. I’ve not finished the series yet but so far I still think they could’ve just continued dating, gone for treatment then married when she’s recovered. Them & their families all know they both love each other, I just don’t understand what the rush is into getting married.
Even regarding the medical decisions, FH can make them herself. If she’s in a state in the future where she can’t make those decisions eg lack of capacity, then she could make advanced decisions or her parents could make those decisions as her next of kin.
Anyway, like I said, I’ve not finished the last eps yet so I might change my mind later! This is just what I think based of eps 35 & 36
I’ve just seen ep 35 & honestly I understand WH’s mum - she’s right when she said “no mother would want that for her son”. The proposal was very sudden, there was no chance for FH or either families to prepare. I think they should’ve just got back together, focussed on FH’s treatment & recovery then he should’ve proposed. I’ll see if I change my mind in the last few eps
I really despise how the management at Bee’s behaving. Esp that guy w a mole who was blaming wanghe for xingchi’s behaviour saying that they shouldn’t hire from “nepotism” when he literally works under his BIL & is constantly licking his arse 🙄 the hypocrisy was crazy lmao
aw ep 31 kinda made me sad, they’re all drifting apart & so busy w their own lives that they barely have time for each other. it’s realistic tho, adult life is really like that
And I REALLY don’t want those 2 to ever be caught

ep 7’s making me think Jinsu’s a secret millionaire or smth, boy gave so many hints on being ready to spend loads of money 😂
chaeeun’s date w chanhyeong was really cute, I hope they get more time together
