I won't make a move if I were him. He knows he doesn't stand a chance if Wanghe is interested since she has always…
Yh I don’t think he’ll make a move. but even if he does, at least he won’t have regrets later on, he’ll know he tried. their friendship seems deep enough that I don’t think it’ll get too awkward, they can overcome it
Maybe it's just me but I hate Wang He and Feng Hua together. She deserves someone better than him.
agree! it’s a bit odd to me how WH’s suddenly realised his feelings & is acting on them, I can’t tell if they’re sincere or if he’s just doing that bc of what his dad said. like if Siyi randomly appeared back in their lives now, would WH start pursuing her instead?
why’s grandpa Zhou got 1 of the worst conditions ever 😭he’s been the pillar of flower street since ep 1. and I don’t appreciate how no one wants to tell HK, he deserves to know before it’s too late. if I was CR, I’d just tell him
haikuo’s always been so intelligent & rational, this is the 1st time he’s not making sense to me. the trauma from his parents’ divorce is making him assume all women’s characters’ are like his mother’s. which really sucks & is unfair towards xiaohui who seems like a nice gf.
& I don’t really agree with haikuo when he said all marriage should need is love. sense of security, communication, similar morals, compromise, time, respect, compassion, effort, consideration etc are all other values that are as important as love, if not more
wanghe’s ambition’s blinded any emotional intelligence or sense. haikuo’s gf was speaking pure truth when she said the rest of the group have been following wanghe since childhood & should go down their own paths instead.
the bond they all have is deep & it’s fun to watch that but I think it was the wrong move for xingchi & haikuo to work for wanghe. money & business are better off not being mixed w personal life eg family/friends. xingchi’s realised that when he told haikuo they’re wanghe’s subordinates now rather than brothers
it’s really crazy that the staff from that abandoned ship all have same surnames as the current people living in flower street. and ik it’s a drama but even for a drama, it’s too much of a coincidence that all the descendants of those people live in the same courtyard. they’ll probably say the Italian owner’s siyi’s relative. I just hope the story of this ship doesn’t get really unrealistic as it unfolds.
also I’m a bit confused on why they’ve been digging the ship for 7 yrs, is the process really that long?
I love seeing that they’re all on their own paths but still keep in touch & help each other out. it’s v rare to find friendships like that these days esp w several people
how old are the kids meant to be now? I was guessing mid-20s bc they mentioned it’s been 7 yrs since high school but the parents kept saying the kids are grown & SXC’s dad said “almost 30”
this panelist seem biased, it’s fine to have opinions but as someone who could influence viewers’ reactions, the panelists should be a bit more careful w the manner they express their opinions. & tbh, half their talk isn’t adding anything to the show, Lee ChungAh’s the only one’s opinions I actually want to hear. she seems the least biased

on another note, they’ve all glowed up sm esp fenghua & xingchi wow
