a lot of my comments have been focussed on the connection between the mains but honestly, their parents probably all have even stronger bonds - living in the same courtyard, raising their kids together, trusting each other enough to invest for all their futures together, cooking for each other, selling next to each other every day etc. they’ve built such deep ties, it’s a lovely support system.
