I am very happy for this but sadly, no money rip. I would love to show my support by buying this because the staff deserves it and I am also a huge fan of the series but the price is too much for me. I will support by watching through CR instead haha I hope the sales are good, good luck CM :)

Hmm I wouldn't say it's impossible to happen since CM is very popular in some Asian countries right now, and while I am fine with remakes (Skam fan), at the same time I am worried as the rest of the users here because of how Thai BL stories often have certain troupes we dislike/the execution is not good (not to mention if they make it with some popular fancouple I will just dislike it - no offense to any fans of famous couples but with love and support, comes the obsession of the fans and the typecasting) and the fanservice will be too much. I shall hold judgement before any remake till I decide to see but yes, the magic of CM is not easy to reproduce.

They are being bitter deliberately then. If they don't like CM, that's more than fine. Each of us have their own preferences in stories, so no big deal. But it's kinda weird to comment about Machida's other character smoking, it shouldn't even be an issue since it doesn't affect the plot. Idk, some people just want to find faults on whatever they can catch on. Touch grass or smth lol

Without spoiling much, this was a blast! A really good survival, action and psychological series. Most of the characters got focus and a background story which I really appreciate due to the 45 mins/episode and only 8 episodes! It goes to show that most of the time you don't need an hour long, 16-20 episode length series to flesh out your characters and the relationships between them but of course it all depends on the story, execution and directing. Hoping for a S2 and I might give the manga a chance if I have time :)
P.S: The cinematography was great!

Tbh, I thought there would be more about the debate but it's just one person and pretty much everyone disagrees with them. I wouldn't give those kinds of comments more attention than they deserve although I do agree with one user who said that smoking's negative impacts are rarely, if ever, shown in media and it's mostly used to make a character look cool, but there is so much context behind smoking, and sometimes alcohol, on a societal and cultural background that it's a big discussion that we can't have here.

Nevertheless, what any adult, these actors included, do in their personal lives in none of my concern unless they are family and friends (and even then I know my limits and mostly care about their health, give advice if they ask me and just being supportive). I mostly judge celebrities on their words and actions regarding sensitive issues and illegal/unethical stuff eg, if one of them plays a gay character but they are homophobic. Other than that, whatever they do in their personal lives is none of my business even if I dislike some actions eg smoking because I personally loathe it lol

Second thought: tbh, I definitely wouldn't mind seeing Machida use his mad kissing skills on Akaso for a Kurosawa/Adachi kiss in CM lmao

Just to add something here: I am not sure how accurate WeTV subs are, but in the scene with Adachi after the phone call with Tsuge, he said "He (Tsuge) must mean that thing... But I am not ready by heart. But if it's Kurosawa, I won't mind". So yeah, I think it's obvious what his preference is in this case lol I understand how important an aro/ace MC would be, I would love to see it too because there is a lot of background societal commentary regarding sex in general and of course representation, but tbh I am fine with side characters like Fujisaki so far. I relate to her a lot, especially regarding social expectations on women and knowing how conservative countries like Japan do "gossip" and use degrading words for women who are single, she is a really strong person who lives her life as best as she can. Anyways, the conclusion here is for Adachi to be honest with Kurosawa in regards with his power. What they decide to do next is another issue that will come from Kurosawa's reaction. Kurosawa is a physical person aka he likes to touch his partner to communicate his love so they both have to talk about this in any case, but I am sure the conclusion will be positive :)
