The crew (?) and CJD have been posting unreleased BTS and cut scenes that did not make it to the final version.
The unreleased BTS are scenes that we have seen in the series but from different angles so far and the crew(?) is bidding them online. Even today I saw a post about a new angle of the office scene.
CJD released a very clear, unreleashed BTS of the scene with the main couple on CC's counter, where CC forces WSW's legs open. There was a kiss scene in the script at first but when Tian asked, the director told him that it was deleted.
The official account, after days of ghosting without BTS or videos, posted today the above tweet. And international fans are angry in the replies.
CJD also said in a convo (scroll down a bit) that they deleted the graveyard AND the waterbed scene.

The final episode aired and they didn't even post the BTS of the final two episodes. They just disappeared on us. Their last BTS is the shotgun kiss which was not included in episode 17 lmao and the last BTS of the new episodes is episode 22 🥲

1. I only said that the BTS and final products of the office and smoking scenes are edited as per creative or other decisions. This is not me spreading false rumors. You can literally see it in the BTS on their channel and on CJD's video that went around. So, according to you, after episode 14, they do not have sex anymore? No kisses or touches? Only hugs and some cute pecks? Wanting to see a NC scene of two characters that are in love and have elements of said lust and love between them, once in a while, is not a bad thing. The intimacy of sex is also important to see them as a healthy couple who consents to this kind of thing.

3. The Chinese you are talking about, watch this illegally. Even a friend of Ziyu posted a pic of them watching episode 5 and fans were laughing that they have to watch it through VPN. Yes, the actors are Chinese, same for the crew. They went through a loophole to make this, they read the script and everyone agreed to this. They knew what they signed up for. I respect their strong will, dedication and talent but I can also say that none made them do this by force. It was a free, liberal decision by all of them, that outweighed the risks. Let's see how they will monetize this. I doubt we shall see Tian and Ziyu breathing the same air live again, so no fan-events especially with how popular they are. They have announced some photocards with autographs and a photobook/BTS in September but it is not enough revenue.
My suggestion for "improvements" remain the same: cutting down scenes, NC or not, that can help the narrative of character and relationship development, is bad and falls under censorship. I have nothing against the crew; If anything, as I said in another comment and above, I feel for them and I believe they feel worse to do this after all their hard work. At the same time, someone with power did want the show to end and the focus to stop earlier than later. Two things can be true at once.

1. There is no official BTS scene of the cut of said rumored NC in WSW's house. They have edited the smoking scene (shotgun) and the one in the office. That's fine.
2. NCs are there to give us the emotional and physical context of their relationship. It's not about it is enough or not; some scenes need them (not like Thai BL full blown NC) in order to show us conclusion and how their relationship has developed.
3. Then do not promote it as BL in international platforms 🤷 If you wanna protect the actors, don't sign them up for this and make the story as bromance. None put a gun on their heads or the CJD to make this BL and promote it as such
4. We can have both sweet and NC scenes, that's how relationships work last time I checked

We are allowed to appreciate what we got and feel sad that scenes were cut. It's not up to debate whether they were cut or not, NC or not. They were cut and we have evidence about it (not talking about the rumors so far but we knew before that some episodes had 40 minutes and a few hours before airing, some minutes got cut. Even WSW talking with Mr. Chi over drinks was one of the preview pics and we never saw it. Let's not talk about the graveyard scene).
I feel for the crew and the staff. It's not their fault and I appreciate what we got but is this what it's gonna be? Afraid of being popular, protect the actors, censorship and cutting scenes?
I don't wanna be anxious of this while watching my drama. As you said, so many bad things are happening in the world, these stories allow us to escape and feel some sort of happiness. I will forever hold this series in my heart but I am also allowed to feel bitter it came down to this.

The same person/company, ordered the release of all 6 episodes in one week. So yes, they could release all episodes If they wanted to but they did not till someone made them to.
We can be grateful and love what we got but still, some of us are allowed to feel bitter this happened.
