I read this on x:"Allegedly Ziyu signed some contract with Tencent. CJD owned huge money to them. It was ordered…
If this is true, I ain't watching "uncensored" CBL anymore lmao What's the point If this becomes so complicated, I can't enjoy my story in peace and always afraid of cancellation and cuts.
I'm not grateful that they managed to fully air this, it's the bare minimum when they decided to do so on international platforms to avoid censorship and still got done with cuts. I am grateful to the crew and cast, especially Tian and Ziyu, but this is not it...
It was so obvious someone higher-up gave the order to cut intimate and other scenes and to fully speed the release of the remaining last episodes.
I doubt it. Unless we go for a DVD box set or smth similar. It looks like the decisions to cut minutes from the episodes came very late as well. It is such a shame...
It still hasn't ended but people are already moving on(I don't think so,but in top airing show from china, this…
On the day the last episode airs, MDL puts the show in the "Completed" category. That is why it doesn't show in the "On-Going" anymore. There is not a countdown as well.
I'm not a lawyer or part of the legal system, so correct me If I'm wrong, but even If WSW recorded their conversations, both of them could deny it in court If WSW did not have hard, physical evidence and/or they did not have good lawyers.
Recordings can be used as evidence but they will be argued and this will take longer time. WSW needed some solid evidence that could work right away and the only solution is for the culprit himself to confess. It's the fastest way to pay up Mr. Lin, who has the evidence and did it himself, than argue around it with both of them in court.
Of course, I don't know how it works in China, but I believe the logic is more or less the same.
She asked about the daughter in law on purpose. She wanted WSW to say something about CC, to confide to her about…
I actually found it very on par with her personality. She doesn't mendle in her son's personal affairs, just listens to him and is happy that he has good friends. She was also probably very embarrassed to say something directly. Would it have been better for WSW? Yes, but she is a private person, who unless someone confronts her, she won't say something. Even with CC, she was very around the issue.
Man episode 19 was such a wreaking ball of emotions. I loved it so much. The way Chi cheng was babying WSW and…
She asked about the daughter in law on purpose. She wanted WSW to say something about CC, to confide to her about their relationship but WSW couldn't. Hence, she asked about CC right after and said to WSW that he (CC) is a good person.
I understand why they are doing this and it was something I wanted when the scandals were appearing week after week, but I'm not ready to say goodbye just yet š
wait!! during the first 5 min. WSW and Cc with little jealousy. WTH happened? cc acted like was mad and WSW speaking…
Deleted 2 min scene in the beginning with them in the bed. It is the thumbnail of episode 17 and one of the preview pictures that were posted yesterday too. I think it is a NC and then they talked about the WZ. Yesterday we knew that the episode would be 48min and today, a few hours before the airing of episode 18, they updated to 46min
I haven't posted here in weeks but I wanted to voice my part on why CC did not tell to WS that he doesn't love him:
For me, CC can love the memories he has of him without loving the person in a romantic way. It is the same reason he gave to WSW before: he is more affected by the betrayal than the person. All these now are scars and he has moved forward, as per his words. WS understands this but knows how to manipulate the situation by pressing the buttons on CC. He feels that he won, the preview video shows that on his face; he can not accept that he lost CC back then with his schemes, that their relationship was toxic and more importantly: he also needs closure and healing himself. They can love each other in a non-romantic way but in a way people who have a past together, left them with scars and tears but with the need to move forward.
And knowing someone from childhood, growing up together, being in a messy relationship for 3 years, betrayed by him and missing him for another 6 years, is not small. It means that this relationship impacted CC, for better or worse. So, the only thing CC needs now is closure. I don't want to spoil but let us wait for tomorrow's episode.
The show just keeps getting better and better. We have had some of the best acting scenes here and I love me some drama <3
So... will CC discover the photos of WSW + YY before or after his throw down with WZ? Clips of discovery/break-up…
After. The preview always show the clips in a chronological order. Also, we can notice that CC has his knuckles red and covered in blood in some parts as he is looking at the photos and the notebook.
Thank you! This was my thought. Pancreatic cancer is very aggressive, like 6months to a year aggressive. Why hid…
My family is the same and I understand why most of us feel strongly about this. I dislike when it happens but growing up, I am trying to put my feelings aside and try to see from their pov till a certain point.
It's a sensitive issue and maybe the writers could have made CC more adamant about not being part of this secret. I dunno, I also don't like that he is keeping it a secret, but I am trying to see from his pov too. Or maybe they wanted to add some drama this way, oh well

"he couldāve just tell his mom that he canāt hide this from him and explain to her that she needs to tell him instead of agreeing to this SEVERAL times" I agree with this. But I guess not everyone thinks and feels the same way. I would have done as you said but I can not also put on the wall someone who feels different about it. I believe CC also wants to tell him but due to his feelings towards WSW's mom and trying to respect her wishes, he decided to act like this. She has probably none to trust with her terminal condition and made CC swear on it.
"if you find out that someone close to you is about to die very soon, first thing everyone do is inform everyone so that they could have the time to say goodbye. I can give a ādiscountā on shock for the first time they talked about it, but not the second I mean come on, thatās just not it" Not everyone wants to give the others their "final time with me" moment and that's fine. Yes, I would want to know but the person who is dying also wants to go without others knowing till the last moment. Will it hurt and grow pain to the ones left behind? Definitely. But due to the nature of the issue, I am conflicted.
That's fine. It is a sensitive issue and everyone has their opinions. I also think they could have handle this better, make CC more assertive in telling WSW about it, give him hints but maybe, as you said for the sake of drama, they wanted to go this way.

Not everyone is in the mental and emotional state to tell their beloved ones about their terminal medical condition. It's not right that she made CC promise not to tell WSW but in extreme cases like this, people can make weird decisions. Maybe in her mental state, she is saving time from the hurt WSW will feel till she dies instead of finding out the last few weeks.
As for CC, yeah he could have find a way around it instead of keeping it a secret eg try to pressure her more to inform WSW or give hints to WSW to visit his mother. But it is obvious that CC is thinking of her as a mom than just an "auntie" and he is trying to respect her wishes even If it will cause a rift between him and WSW

It airs every Monday and Tuesday. Next week we will have episodes 19 and 20
