Then, they can come outright and say it because, so far, there is silence from them about the drama they filmed. If anything, each one of them is focusing on their careers eg filming other series, music etc. Of course being this popular now has its drawbacks and it is affecting their mental health (TXN mostly), but If they say "okay, that's enough! I'm super popular with 10 episodes of RL, let's have my agency file a complain" then they can try and do so and this whole issue can be solved. Their careers will be saved and can enjoy a BL-free world, with the popularity it gave them.
I don't want to think of them as this cold hearted because there more people behind the scenes who worked hard for this show to air internationally and despite the ban in China, it can benefit them. I don't know them personally of course but I also don't want to believe they are these kind of people.
If they decide to cancel the show, so be it. I will cherish the episodes we got so far but it will prevent more people to watch any BL that comes from China.

You are right that insulting and being mean, is totally undeserving of their hard work so far. It's the first time they do something like this and because they took more days to communicate it, it feels pretty bad as fans to find out about it from another platform. I hope it is the last time something this happens and they figure out yhe issues soon. It's popularity is too big, TXN is getting harassed again, this postpone is looking weird. Let's hope for the best!

Certainly there is no joy in this postpone from their side but I believe a better communication with fans should have been established. Now, it looks pretty bad, just a day before the new episode and silence since Wednesday.

No BTS, ViU told us about the postpone days before, they wrote a small "apology" letter, no future date etc.
I get that there is a lot going on behind the scenes, but the least they could do is letting us know about this from the get go and explain the reasons. "For better viewing experience" can mean lots of things and fans are already speculating with no solid evidence.
Did it get more popular than the expected? Certainly, yes. Did the actors got harassed? Sadly, yes Do we as fans deserve a better and more clear explanation than what we got? For sure.
