I think the lenses are a soft pinkish red and the CGI additions to his eyes is the deep red ring around his pupil and the outer edges of the iris where the iris meets the sclera (whites). If there is a lense to the base-colouration it definitely is a soft red-pinky tone. Very gorgeous. And they do a good job of melting his dark natural eye colour in the lenses.

Also how they set up the shots of how she thinks before she paints or during her painting is how I think as I paint or come up with a new piece of art. I never have seen that sort of element in a drama on art/painting and it was surprising to see!

As an artist I really have a lot of respect for how they animate his red eyes (idk if they use a set of lenses to help pre-colour the eyes but if they don't going from dark to that bright and red is a lot of manipulation and tweaking!). There is a depth to the colour of eyes that scream "I'm actually in layers of colour and not just some cheap lenses!". They're so beautifully done.

Pink as his personal colour is probably the most wholesome and best thing ever. What a good colour. My husband loves pink too. He wore it to prom as his vest colour and his prized tie (he's a teacher) is a pink unicorn tie. His other "personal colour" is a soft mint colour. There is no colour coding for genders or anything.

I hope he wears a full blown pink suit in this drama. Plz make that happen Drama Gods haha!

There was more in the background effects and the actual like demonic parts of the character was SFX Makeup for sure! But it has the like.. Xanxia-vibe to it for sure.

I loved Gu Family Book which is pretty CGI-based. It is older and had less of a budget but it's an awesome drama!

I could be wrong but it looks like it's a light for his boat :>. Or at least a boat part.

For those who want to know if it has a happy ending and haven't seen other spoilers. This drama is a part of a book, it is only the prequel. Yes this is a tragic story and both leads do die in this prequel but there is a sequel with a Happy Ending.

For like a bigger summary of the plot of the sequel "Forver and Ever" you can find in the information above. Shi Yi is reincarnated and is again named Shi Yi. She recalls her life with Zhousheng Chen and the tragedy that happened to the couple. She hears his name, in the book, at an airport metal detection scan where she is stopped. The moment she hears his name she realizes her only wish is to try and be with him. I have to reread the book to be absolutely sure but Zhousheng Chen is unaware of their past life. It could change in the drama and be that he is also aware but he is definitely drawn to her. But he is aware that Zhousheng is a name that is passed down from an ancestor to him to hold.

They do end up getting married in a sort of 'contract wedding' but it doesn't lack love at all and Shi Yi is not shy to admit to her love for Zhousheng Chen. Zhousheng Chen is a little cold (sidenote: but not abusive) and he warms up to Shi Yi. I also really love this couple because Shi Yi after rebirth is depicted as an extremely beautiful and capable young woman and unlike most romance novels/dramas Zhousheng Chen is considered 'normal' in looks. He is not ugly at all, but he is not like super sexy. (I mean like Allen Ren is super handsome but I think he fits the role really well.). His beauty is in his brain and Shi Yi is attracted to him because of his intelligence. She takes this life to be with him and give the Shi Yi of the past a happy ending.

I am so sorry to hear. My husband is a teacher and he has dealt with some loss so far into his journey as well. My condolences for your loss.
The book the two dramas are based on is absolutely beautiful. The book was worth the read, I'm in love with this drama and I'm sure the sequel will be worth it too.

Watch the sequel when it comes out in September! The book is super worth reading. It's set in the sequel drama's setting and Shi Yi remembers this entire story from their past life.

I started thinking "Jun Woo" was going to be my favourite :|. Ended up backtracking and choosing Han Seo instead. Vincenzo's last words to him made me bawl. And I almost gave up on the show when Mr. Lee got hurt! I had to make sure/skip ahead to see if he comes back in the aftermath.

I also love Mr. Tak! And well just all of the residents in particular!

For the first half of the show there is a lot of gaming in it but they are both not professional gamers. They are two people with jobs outside of the gaming world. It's how they get together again after having been classmates in middle & high school.

It's more about leisure gamers than it is professional like Falling Into Your Smile is about actual professional gamers. It's a romance drama! It's rather realistic too :). If you liked Love 020, You're My Glory is closer to that as they were both written by the same author (who also wrote both scripts for the dramas too). It's not as game-heavy as Love 020 either.

It's a very mature drama! I really suggest it :D. It's one of my fave books and Yang Yang & Dilraba do an awesome job!

I think it was put in this one intentionally to be a bit of a comedic comment on the fact there are so many masked male leads that somehow fool everyone including those who are very close to the male lead. It is an AI created love story sim game.

I don't know what their problem is. I love huge climatic dramas for sure. But this one is so hilarious I can't stop laughing.
