I am curious how they want to squeeze in 100 episodes of JTV into 14 episodes in this remake.
We all forget that there are English-made shows that stretch 16-20 episode Kdramas into like multiseason shows. Here's me looking at Good Doctor :). Lmao.

Maybe I'll watch this based on your comment. Thanks. 💜
You're welcome! I mean it's been cute. It's not like the best drama on the planet but if you're just randomly sitting there without much to do it's a good couple of minutes of your time.

Came for Zheng Ye Cheng cause I love a martial artist playing martial artist roles! Stayed for Luo Fan and Ling Bi.. I am a sucker for those "best friends to main leads" or "the lower ranked get romance too" plots.

I have reread the book a multitude of times and sadded all over it because we need this drama out! Lmao.

The sad thing about what happening in the comments section, is that it could have been approached in a different…
I am one of those viewers of the drama, who is still watching more for the story that does not include the misinformation of your continent. I agree that the writers should have really done their homework if they were going to use a storyline in Africa. That they should know that there are a multitude of cultures in Africa, and 54 countries that hold said cultures. I am saying this as a Canadian, who is half Indigenous and I relate in a way to how you must be feeling right now.

I am watching in support of the actor lineup in the drama, and frowning at the misrepresentation that the writers added to the drama. I want to just use this comment to add in my thanks to all of those who reside in African countries and are trying to educate and inform others of their continent. I'm so sorry that others are taking your words in the wrong light or just drowning your words out and gaslighting you.

I do hope that the writers become aware of this entire topic in the very near future. I know that there are many articles that touch on this out there. Hopefully they apologize, or have already apologized for the misrepresentation.

I know this was a month ago almost--but. There is a sort of PTSD that pertains to being the only survivor or a survivor in an incident that has taken the life or lives others.
It's called Survivor's Guilt. It's something that takes a long time to walk away from and a lot of therapy and help.

I understand Kpop bands or singers wearing make up but why does this guy always wear so much lipstick . Is it…
No, because in Korea it's not frowned upon to wear makeup as a man and be open about it :).. Actually all celebrities from all countries and walks of life and genders wear lip products of some sort and make up. No one who is a celebrity goes bare face during photoshoots etc. That's the reality.

Also plastic surgery is only their business, not our's.

The comment saying that Song Zu Er looks like a middle schooler 😭 her character is 18 years old, I see her…
I think she passes as "18" enough to me too! People think 18 sometimes means "looking like an adult" but some 18 year olds look younger. I'm really short (148 cm/4'10") and have always been thought of as much younger too.

Her voice is ... great. lol. First time seeing her. Her voice is really something. Wondering if it is her real…
It is 100%! They don't dub in Kdramas (if they do I haven't seen it happen yet! And been watching Kdramas since 2005.) I also completely agree, I love her voice it's got a unique crackle/trill to it!

I loved this drama! I enjoyed the dark Japanese-like humour in a Chinese drama. It also makes me think of the like early 2000s-2010s Chinese movies that are grittier than the typical Chinese dramas of today (I mean I love those ones too). I enjoyed how unique this plot line is!
