My impression after ep 10: it is so deep and well done on psychological level, but on the other hand it is lacking on different layers. For example, ML and FL were spanding night together in the tent and skinship is not mentioned at all. Is it not an important part of relationship? In real life it would be a big deal to spend a night together. They should be nervous or excited or both (even if they didn't have sex) but they do not have almost any feelings about it. You just don't get how the censorship in China works. They did not cut it because they wanted to. They had choose: do editing or have the show canceled.

I just started a first episode. At first it looked great, like a very good fantasy, but then there was this scene with a princess and Ban Xia. Please, can some one correct me if I am wrong or this servant called Ban Xia was burned alive in place of the princess? Why? Because she was poor? Because rich people's lives are more valuable? And princess agreed to that? I am not sure if I will be able to watch this show

Yeon Jung Hoon is a decent and versatile actor. He had an interesting role in "Mask" and it was totally different from his character here.

It was a waste to cover such a chest. Maid's revenge knows how to use actor's potential. (I am not joking. I can imagine how hard this actor worked to build his body)
