So now what, he plans to live with her under one roof and pretend that he doesn't have any feelings for her? At this point he should be aware that he is unable to treat her only as a teacher.
I must say old korean n Japanese dramas are so much mature than the new ones. No fluff n very mature, characters…
So true. In my opinion Que sera, sera is not the best series, but it still has a charm of old drama. I remember that in one of articles or comments on mydramalist someone stated that characters in old dramas are similar to who we in fact are, and characters in new dramas are similar to what we like to think about ourselves. Old heroes were sometimes ugly but in the same time more captivting.
You're really spot on about the "beautiful box, empty inside" metaphor. This drama had some really strong building…
I totally agree. I remember my entsusiastic comment after ep 1 or 2. You have written: "I would love for a drama producer to dissect this drama, taking out the good bits and leaving all the crap behind and using it to make a drama that fulfills the potential this one had." It's a great idea, but drama made like that would be two times shorter ;)
This drama is like a beautifull box empty inside. First episode was well written and I was hyped at first. Unfortunatelly in the end it appeared to be a great disappointment. In this drama we can find only two kinds of character: flat and stereopical or inconvincing and inconsistent. We also have a ML, who fits into both categories. Ahn Hyo Seop's acting was not enough to help this character. I don't recommend this drama. It is a great waste of time.
It's been a while since I last saw a drama as good as this one. Recently I've had a need to fast forward boring scenes in every drama, but this one is good from the begining to the end (so far, I am in a middle). All characters are likeable and actors play very well.
It depends on what you consider a happy ending. In my opinion FL has a happy ending. For ML the ending isn't that bad either. But when it comes to a romance, the ending is open.
