I liked fantasy part. Shamanistic rituals were very detailed. We have many complex characters with different motivations. I liked how side characters were portreyed, for example the female shaman, the jealous prince or the king. And it's only a first episode! In my opinion it built a great fundament for the further plot development.
Ok, I've watched just few minutes and I'm pleasently suprised by a female lead who isn't unhealthy skinny. She's slim of course but looks healthy and normal. In most of Chinese dramas main actresses are so skinny, I feel uncomfortable just looking at them. I don't mean to ofend people who are naturally slim, but most of this actresses looks just unnaturally. But Sandra Ma is just perfect!
