Yes, there is a logic of characters and also logic of the whole world that makes sense. Some ideas of the screenwriter are just greate. I especially liked the scene where DFQC took strikes for his brother. Or the one when he forced Changheng to chose between saving city or FL, because he knew what he will do. So briliant writing!
There was even a scene, where DFQC criticized hierarchical society of immortals and status based on power. It wasn't something to be expected from this kind of drama.
Also script is not naive or shallow. Though the story is cliche, writer has a fresh approach. This is why I hope ending will not be totally predictable.

Guilty pleasure. But I must say, the writing is solid and touching. Characters are suprisingly deep and plot can be unpredictable. I wasn't bored even for a second during first 18 episodes. The best wuxia I have seen so far.

Words can't describe how much I love the fact that FL is average looking. I am sick and tired of dramas where FL was a top=notch beauty and she was called "ugly" because script demanded it. It's a big step for Chdramas.

Please spoil me: is the ending bad and tragic?

I started to watch dramas in 2010. I watch Kdramas, Jdramas, Chdramas and dramas from Taiwan. I have watched hundreds of them. I like every genre. But I just can't watch lakorns. Lakorns are not for everyone.

I am not surprised. I am not a fan of SJK and still can't imagine anyone else playing Saja and Eunseom. But if replacement is inevitable it would be great if the new actor were good.
I will shed even more tears for the actor playing Tagon. But in my opinion what makes Arthdal Chronickles so special is the amazing writing, so I am still waiting for season 2.

You are probably right, but even the best actor can't save not so great and predictable script. I am not saying that Business Proposal isn't predictable, but it has a distance to itself. Where WWWSK is boring, Business Proposal is funny.
Of course it is just my opinion. Both dramas have pros and cons.

I agree. WWWSK was too long and too serious and at the end boring. This one has a perfect lenght and doesn't drag. Also in my opinion characters are more interesting here. They have some uncommon traits. WWWSK has a better chemistry, but characters were rather blant.

I just watched 5 minutes of the first episode and it seems sooooo cliche. I almost can't believe dramas like this are still created in 2022. I though that Korean Business proposal was cliche, but I have a hunch that this one will beat it up.
