When I saw the news and the photo, I got excited thinking Kim Min Jung was finally making her comeback. But it turns out it's just a guest role. :/ It's been three and a half years since her last starring role in the amazing drama The Devil Judge. I started wondering if she got married, as many Korean actresses tend to step away for a while after getting engaged but that was not the case. So, what's going on? š¤ It's really odd, especially since she's such a talented actress.
Totally⦠he even asked, ā so you donāt speak ā ? š«¢
Haha I adore details, that's why I love dramas like Signal and Flower of Evil so much, it's been a while since I watched a Korean drama like this ā¤š„ This is so good
By the way, yāall need to rewatch their conversation during the interview, this time keeping in mind that he already knew by then that she could... š This perspective sheds light on the ML's behavior during the interview and makes it so much more understandable.
Wow ! How is this drama so good? I didn't know anything about it - decided to check it out because of Yoo Yeon…
You need to go back and watch the conversation during the interview once again while taking into account the fact that he probably knew by then that she could speak xD that gives a different perspective. And explains more the behavior of the ML
woah, exactly mešÆ i'm waiting for this since the news of this pairing... a crazy waiter since day one. but…
I kept mentioning the drama to my sister, since she likes YYS, and told her several times how much I am excited for it. After watching the first two episodes, I went to her with kinda pissed off face, and told her : Do you remember the drama that I kept telling you about, it just came out and I watched the two episodes... " and she replied : yea, YYS' drama! Not good? It wasn't as you expected?". I smiled and screamed HELL NAH!! IT'S EXCEPTIONALLY GREAT š now she is waiting for it to finish airing to watch whole thing, me, I tried to postpone watching it because I hate waiting... But I couldn't do it
It warms my heart to see one of my favorite Korean actors deliver such a masterpiece. š
Iāve noticed many people are surprised by how good this turned out, but Iāve personally been waiting for it for months. My expectations were sky-high, and Iām thrilled that it delivered. If it continues at this level, it could easily make a strong case for being the best K-Drama of the year!
The drama shouldāve been titled āThe Immortal Pimpā šš because thatās the most accurate summary of the entire series.
Now, let me start by saying I love Ji Chang Wookāheās one of my favorite Korean actors. But even his charm couldnāt save this mess of a show. This drama is painfully average at best, and honestly, calling it average feels like Iām being generous. Where do I even begin?
First, the characters. Or should I say, cardboard cutouts masquerading as people. Thereās absolutely zero character depth, and development? Forget about it. The leads are so one-dimensional itās almost impressive. They seem to have two modes: evil or dumbāthereās no in-between. Itās like the writers got bored halfway through and decided, "Letās make everyone insufferable." The only person I remotely cared about was the prosecutor. The rest? I wouldnāt have blinked if they all fell off a cliff.
The one redeeming factor shouldāve been the cast, right? I mean, the lineup is stacked. But nope, not even they could salvage this train wreck. Itās like watching a group of world-class chefs trying to make a gourmet meal with expired instant noodles.
Re-watch value? Zero. Not even a second glance. For anyone curious about this show, let me save you some time: skip it. Do yourself a favor and watch The Worst of Evil instead if you didn't yet.
Honestly, the only thing this drama succeeded in was making me reconsider my life choices for sticking with it until the end.
i remember this drama only have like 400++ comments in few days before airing, but now it turns to 1900+ commentsšÆšÆ…
Iāve really missed this genre: Mystery, Thriller, and Romance (and Iām sure most people feel the same) . The last truly amazing drama I watched with similar themes was Flower of Evil years ago, which probably explains why Iām so excitedājust like everyone else!
Can't help but imagine Yoon Kye Sang also perfect for the role of Baek Sa Eon. I mean...
Yoo Yeon Seok is an outstanding and versatile actor, already showcasing pure class in his performance within the first two episodes.
If the male lead role had been given to a lesser actor, I might have considered other top stars in this genre, like Lee Joon Gi or Ji Sung. But thereās no needāYoo Yeon Seok always delivers.
Iāve been looking forward to this, knowing itās going to be amazing. Yoo Yeon Seok never disappointsāhe ALWAYS delivers! ā¤ļø Pure class in his acting.
Iāve also really missed this genre: Mystery, Thriller, Romance. The last truly amazing drama I watched with similar themes was Flower of Evil years ago. Hopefully, weāll see more like this soon! ^^
By the way, does anyone know the OST used at the end of the first episode when Chae Soo Bin spoke? It was š„!
Hey everyone, can someone explain whether this drama's low rating is deserved or if there's a targeted campaign to downrate it? I was planning to watch it once it finishes airing, but the current rating is pretty discouraging. From my experience, most dramas rated 7.8 or below on MDL tend to be extremely bad.
little did we know then xD

Then thereās the storytelling. What storytelling, you ask? Exactly. The plot is an incoherent, jumbled mess. Itās like someone threw a bunch of clichĆ©s, random violence, and melodrama into a blender and hit "puree." Speaking of violence, itās completely senseless and over the top. Instead of adding tension, it just feels like a cheap gimmick to shock the audience.
