I am hoping more and more that he was the one locked up in the first episode. That would also explain why the…
My guess as well. I think he's the one shown in the 1st episode. But it's not satisfying to me I just want him dead... I have a feeling he's going to do something to the FL that the ML will find unforgivable. They pretty much gave it away with the look on his face towards her in the 10th episode. There was so much hatred in his expression.
And the award for the piece of s**t of the year goes to none other than your truly, Ryang Eum. He deserves all your hatred and F bombs.
Could they just have him killed already? By the way, what on earth is he?
Is he supposed to be that caring friend or some sort of a rainbow character? π€ If it's the latter, then that's extremely weird, especially considering that the ML is twice his age. He should see the ML as a father figure or maybe a big brother. But even if that's the case, what he did was unforgivable. I wish he suffers a very slow and miserable death.
So, he was supposed to let the country fall apart and be with her all the time? What on earth? Soldiers used to leave for wars, and their soulmates would wait for them for years. That's true love. She was the selfish one here. She didn't even bother to ask him what he was doing. She had the wrong impression about him from the very beginning and always assumed the worst about him.
The people who praise the FL for choosing her family should actually be praising the ML even more.
He didn't care about anything else, that much was crystal clear. She meant the world to him, and he started doing what he did solely for the sake of the country, to create a calm, peaceful nation where she could live safely. What was his reward?
She marries another man just 2 minutes after hearing that he died. She better do better in the second season; otherwise, I'd prefer him dead rather than being with her.
Just finished part 1 and i have many thoughts i need to get out.1. regarding the ending... even though i knew…
Toxic, entitled, possessive and selfish I didn't see that coming lol It's like a comment made by an angry feminist... She is perfection and everything bad is because of the ML π
No matter what you said, they both have made mistakes but the truth is she didn't deserve him at all, she has to do better in second season than taking 2min to move on from her dearest death to another man's bed. That's unforgivable
The only thing I can say is that she didn't deserve him.
People are debating the final decision and how it portrays her as a responsible person who chose to sacrifice her happiness for her family. That's a noble thing to do, but most people who make such sacrifices often lead a miserable life full of regret. Every time things go downhill, they question that critical decision.
But let's step back a bit. She should have never agreed to marry that man so quickly, even after hearing that he had died. That's unforgivable. I mean, seriously, she spent only 2 minutes before agreeing to marry another man. No matter how they want to show us how much she loves him, marrying someone else after hearing that your dearest has died shouldn't take just a couple of minutes. It should have taken years. What on earth was that?
His Baeksang award has been long overdue. Hoping he'll get it this time in My Dearest because I've been waiting…
Yea, as I said he deserves it more than anyone else, they seriously need to redeem themselves otherwise personally I will never take that award seriously
1. Wang Churan is so beautiful and seriously she looks like Crystal Liu sister, this is the first time I watch a drama starring her, my first impression of her was : Is this a Crystal Liu's sister or what π
2. How the hell this drama has only 8.2/10? I watched many C-Drama and K-Drama that were released this year, there are plenty of them with higher rating than this , and frankly this drama is much better than most of them π
Yay!I wasn't planning on watching My Dearest, but now I might. These two were so great in Awaken and I'd love…
Lol, you are lucky that you didn't watch My Dearest yet... not because it's bad but the complete opposite, I didn't watch it 'til yesterday and found myself completing all 8 episodes at one go...
Another outstanding performance by Namkoong Min β€οΈ
I bet the "You are cruel" line broke everyone's heart :(
I have been struggling to watch K-Drama for while now and focused mostly on C-Drama, but this one revived my interest. I watched the 8 episodes within a day.
And at the end, let me say this : the most shameful thing in kdrama history is the fact that Namkoong never won Baeksang Arts Award for Best Actor despite being included in the final selection 3 times... I will never acknowledge that reward until I see him lift it because no one adeserves it more than him
I really like Meng Zi Yi (Hong Shu). Hope she gets more screen time in the later season (s).
The actress who played the FL didn't impress at all. Her acting skills weren't good enough (she could better obviously, she is young) and they didn't have to look anywhere else for another actress to play the role, if they just gave the leading role to Meng Zi Yi and have them both swap their roles, this drama would have been rated higher than this...
One other suggestion was to minimize the screen time of the FL to give more time to the other actresses... For example, Zhang Tian Ai impressed me a lot with little time she was given
Same here, I am looking forward to see him working with other female leads, for example I wish that he will have a collaboration with either Bai Lu or Yang Zi but there's no harm in another drama with Lusi :D Hopefully modern one though.
It was so quick that it really felt like 2 minutes.
Second, what the hell are you even talking about?
When was this mentioned that she took 3 years
before agreeing to marry?

Is the cast confirmed?
