Man, I know it's hard to assemble the actors after a long time, but I don't like cast changes at all. I'm still angry over "Ever Night" season 2... It was disastrous.

There's one thing I am happy about though, and that's the fact that my best maid from "Sword Snow Stride" is finally getting a main lead role ❤

I have been waiting for this for so long ❤️
Mainly 'cause I miss Ni Ni in any drama,
another actress I like is here too Meng Zi Yi 🔥

I am wondering though why it' s not trending? 🤔 I don't want to watch it until it's about to finish, is it good ladies and gentlemen?

Hedi is better than sweet Lei
Well, when it comes to acting, there's no debate, Wu Lei is on another level. But in terms of looks, it depends on the individual's preference. I personally prefer Leo, but I know that most women probably prefer Hedi over Leo. 😂 I'm a guy, so why do I know

Thank you for taking the time to explain all that ❤

I don’t think she got married either tbh cuz I don’t think divorce was a thing back then or am I wrong? And…
She didn't marry and there's a big hint that most of the people missed : when she was watching him leaving by the river/lake, her hair was a maiden's hair style not a married woman's bair style which strongly suggest that her marriage got canceled.

Yes it was commendable to stay with her family that need her, but if we step back a bit, and we look at the big picture it was really unforgiven what she did, wasn't she a mature person? then, why she didn't explain herself and the reason for her decision and instead she decided to destroy the main lead with that letter?! Explain yourself for God's sake, he will understand, even if he leaves, he will still hold you dear and respect you, but that wasn't the case... Disappointment one after another, she always assumed the worst when it comes to him and believed the rumors without checking, when he was fighting for his life to make sure the country is peaceful for her, she was thinking that he was screwing around with women... Damn... honestly she better redeems herself in the second part, otherwise I would rather see him dead than being with her

It hasn't been 3 years, just few months... What she did was unforgivable to say the least.
Again, we are not talking about how long they didn't see each others, we are talking about the period she took to get married after she got proposed to... It was so damn fast to move on from your so called "dearest" to another man, it didn't make any sense, same goes for how she handled the situation at the end of episode 10, yes it was commendable to stay with her family that need her, but if we step back a bit, and we look at the big picture it was really unforgiven what she did, wasn't she a mature person? then, why she didn't explain herself and the reason for her decision and instead she decided to destroy the main lead with that letter?! You are missing the point, the point people are arguing about is how many years she spend before deciding to marry him... Some people said it took her 3yrs which isn't true. She moved on very quickly and that doesn't make any sense if he was truly her dearest, really disappointed on her

she took 3 freaking years before agreeing to marry
Yours make more sense.... They have been mentioning the time leaps thorough the drama, why didn't they make the same thing in this case, most likely it's exactly as you said, just some months, it felt really short that's why I said it took her couple of minutes... Unforgivable

A question for you all / Possible Spoil!!

If I am not mistaken in traditional Korean culture, there is a distinction between the hairstyles of unmarried maidens and married women. Typically, unmarried women wear their hair down, while married women wear their hair up, often with a specific headpiece.

Am I remembering that correctly? I don't know too much about their culture, and if that's the case, does that mean that she didn't marry the other man?
When she was watching him by the lake/river leaving,
her hair was the maiden's hair style not the married woman style, right?

I’m with you. It’s the persistent worst assumptions that leave me cold to any romance. Her unwillingness to…
YES, unforgivable!

And regarding what will happen later on, we know very well that at the end of the day they will have the FL & the ML go back together, that prick who was supposed to be his friend will surely do something unforgivable and therefore the ML will have to punish him severely for it and then finds his way back to her.

She doesn’t deserve him. Not because she opted out, but because she perpetually holds the worst possible interpretation…
Yes, I agree with you, she doesn't deserve him

If there was a single person who shouldn't doubt him and see the best in him,
it had to be her, but she was just someone else who believed in what she heard and based everything on that, when he was risking every single moment of his life to defend the people (and therefore the country) just to make sure that she has a better life full of peace, she was thinking that he was screwing around with women.

Toxic, entitled, possessive and selfishI didn't see that coming lolIt's like a comment made by an angry feminist...…
Yea, too much suffering and both made mistakes.
The reply was toxic towards the ML though and glorified the FL
which doesn't make any sense.

It's truly commendable that she scarified her happiness to help her family (I am with that, except the marrying part, that's unforgivable for me), despite the fact that in general I don't agree with that decision because most of the people who do that, sooner or later, they will live a life full regret because everytime things go downhill they will remember that critical moment....Despite that, I respect her still until this moment she doesn't deserve him.
Also, people who don't like his absence, is he enjoying the life?
He is risking every single second of his life to protect the people (therefore the country whether he likes it or not), and all that was decided by him for a sole purpose which is making sure she lives a peaceful and calm life, isn't that even more commendable

she took 3 freaking years before agreeing to marry
You mentioned it with absolute certainty, saying "3 freaking years," and I was thinking, "When did that happen?" Because throughout the drama, they always mentioned a time leap, even at the end of episode 10.

Now I see where you're coming from. I went back and checked, and perhaps only a year and a half passed. I don't know how much kids grow over there, but that doesn't seem like a 3-year time leap in my opinion. Hopefully, they clarify this information. Regardless, I agree that if he was her dearest, she shouldn't have moved on so quickly.

By the way, do you have knowledge about their culture over there?
I have a question, don't the woman change their hairstyle over there, and there's difference between maiden and wife hair style?
Unmarried women wear their hair down or in a more elaborate style, while married women wear their hair up and in a more modest manner, often with a specific headpiece! 🤔

I think she didn't marry the other man if that's the case

if that's the case, was her hair when she was watching him by the lake/river leaving the one of a maiden or a wife?
