The happiest moment of Mu Yuan was when Xue Zhi and him lives together at a deserted house. - The last scene was…
My heart breaks for him when he says he wants to protect her for life as someone else now, not as brother anymore and when he asks her to marry him. Wahhh~~ Mu Yuan ge~~~
I'm still on team otp but I can't help wishing Mu Yuan wouldn't get hurt too. He clearly loves her a lot. At least he gets that short moment in time with her in that deserted house! They look like married couple in those scenes tbh.
Good summary! In the preview, that scene when Tou risked his life for Zhi says by Hua Shan Leader "one life for…
Ugh, Tou is ready to die if it means they'd let her go, but obviously they wouldn't! I kind of wish Xue Zhi is awake so she could witness Tou's dedication/feelings for her!
Totally Blessed for today, i was waiting since Sunday for new episodes, i literally didn't know what to do with…
Me too! The wait feels like forever so I've been spending most of my time re-watching trailers, bts, interviews, analyzing plots, haha. I was even refreshing like crazy when it was almost broadcast time earlier.
It's a shame they still haven't made up. I can't stand it when the OTP stays apart for too long.
Why did Liu Li have to die? :'( Now Xue Zhi is only left with two of her four original guardians/best friends. I was hoping Liu Li would follow Tou to Moon Valley after coming clean to Xue Zhi later. I even cried for Elder Yu Chi who barely got any screen time but was my favorite of the two in Hall of Flames.
I was anxious when both Lord Lu and the crown prince showed up in today's episodes. They're clearly vying for Tou on their team. Lord Lu is showing his true colors, while the crown prince is still dreamy (to me). The crown prince appears harmless right now but I wouldn't be surprised if he has his own agenda for wanting Tou to join him. I think Tou is as naive about the court as Xue Zhi is about the martial arts world. He's trying to stay away from the court, yet unwittingly step his feet onto the court's matters. I can see Tou's father is trying to protect him by persuading him to join the crown prince so as to gather backing/support from the crown prince and shield him from Lord Lu's ambition, yet Tou is unable to see his father's good intention.
My heart is also breaking for Tou when Xue Zhi put him at arm's length, refusing his comfort and help. And when she left his hand hanging when he offered the osmanthus cake he brought specially for her, oof, my heart is in pieces. Thankfully, second dad was there to slightly appease the situation although it doesn't help much. Bah, when is this misunderstanding gonna be resolved? I can't stand watching them like this.
Also, I'm slightly relieved that Mu Yuan appears to have no connection with Lord Lu right now, although I wouldn't be quick to judge his non-involvement. I still feel for Mu Yuan ge though, why is he such an awesome guy?
Edit: Totally forgot to mention that Xue Zhi gave really good advice asking Tou to be clear of Lord Lu's intention. She's clearly worried about him too, aww...
I don't know why they keep changing it to 50 but it's confirmed to be 48 episodes everywhere else, including Chinese…
Yes, I realize the international iQIYI says it's 50 episodes. But the drama's official Weibo confirmed it to be 48 episodes, and Chinese iQIYI apps/website also states it's 48 episodes, Tencent and Yukou apps also the same. So clearly international iQIYI is the only one saying it's 50, must be some misunderstanding on their part.
Does the female lead gets better? I mean she speaks without thinking and looks undeserving for the young master…
Yes, she has gotten a lot better. She has come a long way since her young master days and now is the rightful master of the Hall of Flames. She also has mastered half of her father's Lotus Wing martial arts and is now considered to be formidable in the martial arts world. Though it doesn't mean that leaders of major sects are letting her go. They're still plotting ways to bring her down.
Ep.1-10 Initial encounter in Jianghu (world of wuxia), "holding hands" (being together) and delivering loveEp.17-18…
Ep.33-34 Thin veil (could it mean marriage??), "leaning on" one another (being together) -I understand this more like leaning close in thin clothes, don't tell me they consummate their relationship? Whaaaaaaaa----- Ep.37-38 Plucking a flower to give to a beauty -Aww, his promise to pluck a flower every day for her. Ep.41-42 Meeting under the moon, old friends tied together by a red thread (may mean meeting again after a long separation?) -This is probably their first meeting after he supposedly falls off the cliff and dies. Ep.43-44 Meeting again and longing to know more about someone (so someone you know os suddenly like a stranger, maybe there's amnesia involved?) -I think it means they meet again and he finally acknowledges his identity, he pretends to be someone else after falling off the cliff. Ep.47-48 Red knot has been tied (could be hinting for a happy ending) -They get married. Hehehehehe
Erm……..K....Sorry I just find this extremely boring and feel that it is exactly like Love Last Two Minds that…
If you have watched 10 parts, you must have seen Xue Zhi confessed to Tou but was rejected. Basically they went their separate ways after Xue Zhi refused Tou's further help because she thought he didn't like her. In the meantime, Tou uncovered his birth secret and came around to understand why he grew up the way he did, which also lifted up the burden in his heart and changed his perspective about receiving and giving love. Xue Zhi went back to Hall of Flames and trained for Lotus Wing in seclusion.
One year later, Xue Zhi and Tou met again and it's clear that they've been missing each other. They grew close while investigating a plaque that's been spreading everywhere. After they managed to solve the case and save everyone, they went their separate ways again, but this time with the intention to meet again.
Xue Zhi then went to Moon Valley to seek out and help Tou after she found out he transferred all his power to her a year back while she was unconscious and now unable to recover from a recent attack. This ignited all feelings both on-screen and off-screen (viewers). This time, Tou confessed to Xue Zhi and she accepted him albeit a little (basically non-existent) reluctant due to his rejection a year ago. They became a couple and kissed in episode 20, very sweet stuff my teeth are hurting. They basically talked about their future as a married couple and having kids, and were planning to meet Tou's dad to discuss marriage.
And then a misunderstanding happened and lasted for 4 episodes. All because the second female lead was basically accusing Tou of rape/sex when they were younger. Tou was framed and asked Xue Zhi to believe him, she didn't want to because they've just started a relationship and he had hidden such a huge matter and she felt like he didn't trust her enough to tell her the truth before she had to hear it from someone else.
I just summing up the romance, everything or everyone else is minor details in my eyes, lol.
I feel like the writer would actually like a polygamous society. Just have a woman take care of (multiple) men…
I don't have problem with this drama's definition of true love, it's up to an individual how he wants to interpret his true love. The problem I have with this drama is the blurred lines between morality, ethics and love. The characters are behaving like manic people, totally ignoring what's right and wrong and ONLY pursue justice for people they deem evil, romanticize sick behaviors and worst of all, brushing off murder like it's nothing because of what reason?
JC/JB: "I WAS JEALOUS OF YOU." (No hard feelings yea?)
HB/SH: (TOTALLY NOT DUDE! WHAT ARE YOU SAYING? I FREAKIN LOVE THE THINGS YOU DO CUZ YOU'RE MY HERO.)
In case it isn't clear, the words in brackets are hinted rather than spoken. I didn't watch the episode but I did saw this scene.
I dropped this after episode 13 and am glad I didn't bother wasting my time watching the rest. I still occasionally come back to read comments because I'm curious, which I do find a waste of time, I'd better spend that energy on something actually worth my time. Not gonna bother putting this as spoiler cuz this show doesn't deserve any respect.
I'm gonna risk personal attacks here, but I've tried Soompi and they're not friendly, very judgmental people.
"Many people do not realize negative comments about a drama are so important because they can help us improve our viewing experience."
I agree, but then again, our preferences are a subjective matter, so what work for me may not work for you. That's why I always hold my judgment against negative comments as well because they may be influenced by a number of reasons. I usually read any type of reviews and keep them in mind, so I can make my own judgment when I watch. I don't mind people defending a certain idea, show, people or whatnot, I just mind people putting down others for different views and honest opinion.
In most cases, I just ignore hateful comments, but I am human too and can't help being hurt by words, which is why I stay away from possible conflicts.
Thank you! Hmm... Hard to think that Mu Yuan is behind all of this. I know he was also the villain in the novel,…
His face twitches a lot but I don't sense any deviousness from him. In fact, I love when his face softens at the sight of Xue Zhi or when he talks to her.
I'm still on team otp but I can't help wishing Mu Yuan wouldn't get hurt too. He clearly loves her a lot. At least he gets that short moment in time with her in that deserted house! They look like married couple in those scenes tbh.

Also, that human ball formation is so cool, kind of reminds me of a scene in Eternal Love, but obviously on a much smaller scale.
