Thank you! Hmm... Hard to think that Mu Yuan is behind all of this. I know he was also the villain in the novel,…
I beg to differ, Mu Yuan never seems forced or feel emotionally different when it comes to Xue Zhi. He's a strict person and it shows in his personality, but he visibly softens around Xue Zhi. He's equally, if not more, protective of Xue Zhi like Tou and 2nd dad. After he leaves Xue Zhi to go back to Hall of Flames in the initial episodes, he is clearly anxious to go back to her. And when the news of her death hits, he practically run to the scene, he seems in disbelief and couldn't accept her death for the days following.
The only difference between Mu Yuan and Tou is the way they pursue Xue Zhi. After realizing his feelings, Tou doesn't waste any time to make it clear his intention towards Xue Zhi. Mu Yuan, on the other hand, consider himself Xue Zhi's home and safe haven. Even if she wanders and get lost for a while, she will eventually returns to him because he will always be there for her. He decides to keep his feelings hidden so Xue Zhi could live as freely as she could and makes her own decision for her life, but that he'd be there to protect her. Mu Yuan actually seems selfless when it comes to Xue Zhi, hence why it's hard for some people to accept the fact that he'd go dark.
Of course, jealousy can get to the best of him, but given Mu Yuan's current personality, it just seems odd that he'd do anything to hurt Xue Zhi. I'm willing to understand his turn to darkness if they give his arc a proper development and why it's inevitable that he'd join forces with the villan coughlordlucough.
My brain just kind of gets muddled every time I see Luo Yunxi — he's just so elegant and graceful to look at…
"I feel like I've achieved internal peace or tranquility or something"
Omg, haha, this cracks me up so much! I do enjoy watching him in this a lot, I feel exactly the same of Leo as Tou said about Xue Zhi, "I love to see her (him), and to be with her (him). Her (His) smiles makes me happy and her (his) sorrow pains me too. I like this feeling."
Guess you've watched that pervert scene already XD
Lol, I don't have the energy to watch too much dramas, and this has taken all my attention right now. I heard good reviews about Tiger and Rose though?
I don't have any issue with Xue Zhi back hugging Tou or vice versa because that'd be consensual, Feng Zi's hug is clearly an assault, modern sensibility speaking of course. Meanwhile, I can only dream of hugging Leo, lol.

I'm trying to search my memory where Xue Zhi has hugged Tou and come up blank, I don't think she has. I think we've been spoiled by the trailers too much, or at least I am, so we're a little confused on who's hugged who and when, lol.
I'm gonna risk personal attacks here, but I've tried Soompi and they're not friendly, very judgmental people.
Ah, I see. Thanks for the info. Even though it says I've been here since 2015, I'm clueless to the site, I don't even remember my 2015 self registering for the site, lol. I only registered/login recently to rant on a Korean drama gone wrong.

My line of thoughts was something like this, "Wt- That's sexual assault, girl! Are you out of your mind?" "Omg, my Tou ge ge is suffering." "It'd be nice to back hug Leo though." "I wish I was the one back hugging him." "Omg, That's sexual assault, girl! Are you out of your mind?" Then it went on a repeat. XD

I tried to see what you were talking about on your profile, and it sent a friend request instead, lol, an accident but a pleasant one nonetheless. :) I know it's easy to just delete the second post, but I feel like they should know it's been buggy.

I'm sorry to hear that. I get what you're saying about being eaten alive for having a critical opinion, I also understand from fans' pov that they'd get defensive over their favorite show, so I try not to take anything personally when I comment and leave when it gets a little too heated (no point in fighting words and hurting each other). But I do avoid places that feel like a landmine. Cyberbullying happens but I think it's important to be a responsible user, set an example, and speak out when it's not right. We all have a part in this.
I haven't tried blocking anyone, I don't even know how, but I think this site has been buggy for a few days now, we keep double posting. How do you report that?

I agree, but there's always gonna be people who feel an opinion is a personal attack and feel the need to get defensive. I've always been a firm believer of, "tackle the idea, not the person."
I'm enjoying kisskh a lot and the people I've met here, and I do believe in the saying, "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all." So, I've always held back when I feel like I have nothing good to say. Well, I may have been super sarcastic on another thread of another show in here, but just honest opinion about a messed up drama.
Just think of it as their "LOVE TRIAL" in mortal realm, then you're good to go. lol. Jin Mi-Phoenix- Sui He ------->…
I TOTALLY THOUGHT SO TOO! I thought his eyes twitching when asked to keep the scroll was kind of suspicious, but then Hong Sheng was captured (probably a diversion) made me think he was actually a good guy! I am so invested in the plot right now, lol.
I was cheering for Feng Zi then she falls again into Master Yuan's scheme. I was sad though when she realised…
Rather than his "meaty face", which I kind of like because it feels more natural than everyone's sunken face, I'm distracted by the twitch of his mouth when he talks.
This drama is like an ex-bf, I don't wanna see him anymore but I can't help wondering how he's doing. Can someone spoil the latest episode so I don't have to torture my soul watching it? Please be as sarcastic as you can be so I can enjoy your comment better than I've enjoyed the drama as a whole.

I didn't mean the thread for this drama but from my past experience with Soompi. I am generally turned off by the way they tell people off there, I can't remember exactly what I did but something about my fangirling. I don't have problems with people voicing their thoughts about a show.

I just read an article last night and found out the monk, Shi Yan in the novel, who killed Xue Zhi and Tou's son, and destroyed Tou's martial arts and presumably killed him is actually the HEAD MONK of Lu Temple! I didn't notice his name in the first episode but apparently he's that infamous Shi Yan, lackey of the mastermind. Omg, now it's becoming more interesting.
