I agree with you on Xue Zhi's transformation and everyone (in the drama) can see it as well. Now she's superior in the martial arts world not only because she has mastered the Lotus Wing, but also because she's not tolerating this mistreatment against Hall of Flames anymore, she's becoming more and more like her dad but in a good way.

All these tormenting me and tormenting you are getting on my nerves tbh. I can't stand seeing my OTP like this when the misunderstanding could have been easily cleared. What happened to "let's face all hardships together?"

Lotus sutra is more of repairing inner energy than it is an actual martial arts. Also, he was slashed all over his body, not to mention he did cut his neck a little. The cut seems minor, but he actually bled a lot to the point he stained Xue Zhi's clothes.

Lol because they want him to come back as stronger man. Also because they couldn't stand seeing him being tortured by Xue Zhi like this. They're like, "Tou, let's just jump off the cliff now and save yourself from the heartache."

I'm sort of happy to see the lotus appearing in Xue Zhi and Tou's hands, it makes me feel like they're connected.

Xue Zhi will definitely regret all these wasted moments not reconciling with Tou when this misunderstanding is clearly bullshit. I understand her anger for his refusal to be honest, but it has lasted for 8 episodes already. A relationship is all about two people learning and growing in love, but she isn't really giving him a chance.

However, I'm with Xue Zhi on the banquet scene. Lord Lu is basically telling Xue Zhi to suck it in and make up with Huashan sect without proper resolution or promise that Huashan wouldn't repeat the same behavior, Xue Zhi as the current master of Hall of Flames clearly cannot tolerate this and she really shouldn't, they came to her ground and kill everyone, Hall of Flames was simply defending themselves. That scene may seem like she was rather temperamental and impulsive, but I see it as Xue Zhi finally growing a backbone as a proper master. As for her rebuff of Tou's cover, it's more for his sake than it is because of their current misunderstanding. It will be explained in today's episode, but Xue Zhi is basically covering for Tou who's stuck between her and his family (his sister and his brother-in-law).

I want amazing fighter Tou to come back too. I guess most fans feel the same so Chinese viewers have been demanding Tou to fall off the cliff now and come back as the powerful Yu Chu Zhi (because in the novel Tou only got stronger after his supposed death), lol.

Rather than taking sides, I understand that this is their first real relationship and given their temperament, drags on the conflicts, but I am equally frustrated by the lack of efforts on both sides. Tou is making effort to meet Xue Zhi, but doesn't take a firm stand to resolve the misunderstanding, Xue Zhi, on the other hand, is willing to see and talk to Tou, but doesn't let him know what she really wants from him but instead keep pushing him away. At this point, I'm really ugh, I'm so frustrated that I want to reach into the screen and shake em!

As for Tou's womanizing reputation, I thought it was established that it was a rumor he spread to keep the girls away? Also, he might be a real good flirt, but definitely awkward in keeping his girl happy.

Sorry, I don't have time to translate play by play because iQIYI, Tencent and Youku have all released slightly different versions of the previews, so I'll just summarize it for you.

Wu Ming comes into Tou's room and reveals he has been back for two days and doesn't show up because someone has been tailing Tou. Shang Guan Zheng sends a letter to Xue Zhi inviting her to Dong Du with the excuse of wanting to meet her, but she's actually inviting Xue Zhi over for Tou's sake. Mu Yuan warns her it could be a trap by Lord Lu given their recent issue with government's military weapon order. Xue Zhi goes and meets Feng She along the way, who also invites Xue Zhi over to Huashan sect with the excuse his father, Feng Cheng wants to bury the hatchet with Hall of Flames. Xue Zhi is later captured (not shown how). Both Tou and Mu Yuan go to save her. Tou later asks how will Feng Cheng let Xue Zhi go, Feng Cheng asks for Tou's life in exchange for Xue Zhi's life. Feng Cheng is finally subdued (not shown how and he's not in screen) and Tou craddles a barely conscious Xue Zhi in his arms, he feeds her water through mouth to mouth. Mu Yuan is slaying all of Huashan sect disciples by himself but spare Feng Mo. He later sees Tou craddling Xue Zhi in his arms and slowly approaches them. Tou hands Xue Zhi over and asks Mu Yuan to take Xue Zhi back to Hall of Flames and they switch hands.

I don't normally enjoy court's politics and all, but I did enjoy their metaphoric conversations. I can see Tou resembles his dad a lot, as pointed out by the crown prince.

And YES! Our Hall of Flames master is finally kicking ass with her Lotus Wing martial arts! And ugh, Mu Yuan is stunning when he's slaying the enemies! I hope Tou gets his time to shine soon too cuz right now he's barely fighting.

Lol I love the look on second dad's face during that scene, he's stuck between the two and trying to meddle yet failing miserably. I guess that's something Tou needs to learn to overcome on his own and sadly comes with time and the risk of losing someone so precious to him.

I think he's being considerate to her considering everything that has happened, like Hall of Flames being destroyed and lots of disciples have died including Liu Li, so he didn't want to add his problem on top of that. Also, he's trying not to be forceful with Xue Zhi when it comes to his feelings, unaware that Xue Zhi is actually wanting him to do something. I think Hong Xiu and Shang Guan Zheng see through that and have been trying to set up meetings for them so Tou can do something about it, alas, stupid woodblock head Tou doesn't get it and frequently messes things up.

He should have just back hugged her and say, "I can't lose you! I love you so much that I can't let you go anymore!"

I am so jealous I wanted to grab the osthmantus cake from Tou's hand last night and say, "I'LL EAT THEM IF SHE DOESN'T WANT THEM!"

I don't hate love triangle but I hate it when the female/male lead wishy washy between 2 choices, I mean I'm watching it for an OTP, meaning I only want 1 true pairing!

I don't think Xue Zhi will see him as a love interest, rather she's letting him stay right by her side but unable to forget Tou. So Mu Yuan will probably just watch over her quietly like he always has. The last scene is like hinting he's gonna die and Xue Zhi will dream of him in that place.

I seriously don't understand the dramaland's logic, sweet stuff only happens like 1-2 episodes, sometimes barely half of an episode, and then the suffering lasting for 50 episodes. Bah!

Tou is gonna fall off the cliff as soon as they reconcile I know, but I'm hoping they at least consummate their love before that, haha.

I can't wait for Yu Chu Zhi to show up! Tou in dark garb! *hearts in my eyes Also, it's time for Xue Zhi to chase Tou around considering how much he's chasing her around in 6 episodes now, probably more, lol.

They skipped all funerals, but it's implied he was buried somewhere near the Hall of Flames because his last request was to return "home" with them. Zhong Tao died of poison because he was careless, not because he wasn't strong enough, although I do agree he was wasted in that scene.

Indirect kiss, but a kiss nonetheless. According to Weibo's hint post, they might reconcile on Saturday's episodes because that's the only day with love emoticon lol. Also they might return Moon Valley on Sunday cuz of the moon emoticon. I kind of like their hinting post, lol, it's like a game of puzzle that's up to your interpretation.

Yeah, but not as touching as witnessing him putting the sword to his neck ready to sacrifice his life for hers!

Side note: Mu Yuan slaying all those Huashan disciples is hella cool and creepy at the same time.
