The grudge seems personal because Seo Kyung's dad was the only male victim. Also, why take her mother's jewelry and put them on other victims? Obviously it's to taunt Seo Kyung.

I think the serial killer/doctor was killed in the car accident involving Sung Wook in World A. I remember Do Won B asking who was in the car with Sung Wook, and we were shown that it's the younger version of the doctor.

I was wondering about it as well. It could be that, through his appearance in World B, he's triggering events…
I agree, Do Won A's actions or choices are actively changing World B's reality to resemble World A. However, he's not the source of the rift, I think he just meant the choices we make or do not make create forked roads in alternate worlds.

No problem. I can't help but think they're following C-dramas' standard with long episode count and short airing time, most C-dramas are 40 or 50 episodes long but only 45 minutes running time.

Probably. Him co-existing alongside Do Won B in one world caused both worlds to sort of merge. So maybe he said…
I wouldn't say both worlds merged because then there would be two copies of everyone and that's a bigger issue than just having 2 Do Wons in World B. I think Do Won A is actively affecting World B with his existence, which the killer pointed out earlier on that he crossed a boundary.

Maybe because of the two different choices they made in two different world led to two different fates.
Like what grooty pointed out, the dead bodies wouldn't change a thing because they were dead when they were dumped in World A. Also, they were murdered in World B, so their deaths are unrelated to World A, memories of their existence only viable in World B but not World A. Unlike Do Won A who's very much alive and taking up existence in World B, where Do Won B had returned to, I'm sure having 2 Do Wons in one world is a huge anomaly and nature is bound to set it straight.

i still don't understand why that old woman Kim Seon Hee still so obsessed with her one side love man when she's…
I was thinking the same thing too, she's treating her daughter like a puppet, I doubt she's her biological daughter.

I really don't know where the writer is going with this ahjuma storyline tbh. I will still be looking forward…
For the sake of dramas and conflicts I'm sure. Get rid of Kim Sun Hee, they pretty much have nothing.

I just realized this is a 32 episode drama and not 16 like I thought, Omg... the drag is about to get real.
It is a 16 episodes drama but split into 2 episodes for half an hour back-to-back broadcast on KBS. It already aired up to episode 10, or episode 20 by official standard, yesterday.

I agree, Saet Byul and Dae Hyun's relationship dynamic is friendly but very much platonic that it doesn't translate well into romance, they mostly give off siblings vibe.

CWPFN was average in terms of plot, it had potentials to develop some sub-plots like the cleaning fairies and specifically their job, the company, the main couple's families, the doctor with his patients, but ultimately chose to focus on the OTP's romance, which worked because the romance was cute and fluttery. And the kiss scenes really enhanced that experience too, I've never seen a drama where the OTP kissed that much lol, and it's totally believable. I agree with the Beauty and the Beast reference lol, he's a big bear and she's so petite next to him but they look good together. It has a high rewatch value for me for the OTP alone.

I'm not holding my breath with BR's main couple, I'm mostly just watching for Yoo Jung, I don't really care for the romance.

Maybe I wasn't being specific with my initial comment. I was wondering why Do Won said he was fate itself, and if he had meant that as in he interfered with fate by staying in a world he doesn't belong and ultimately forced nature to restore balance by killing off Do Won B. I like the idea that there's a consequence for disturbing nature's balance and it will always come back to bite one in the ass.

In terms of visual, Yoo Jung is more compatible with Ji Chang Wook, but in terms of chemistry, she has more with Yoon Kyun Sang imo. Objectively, I can see the age gap in both BR and CWPFN, but subjectively, I don't feel it in both. However, BR couple has platonic/siblings chemistry, while CWPFN couple has lovers chemistry and they straight up gave me butterflies when I was watching. Speaking of CWPFN, I might have to rewatch that after I finish BR.

I don't get episode 8's ending. Does this mean Do Won B world died because they both co-exist in the same world?
On To All the Guys Who Loved Me Aug 4, 2020
Omona! Omona! She remembers now! It took them 9 (17-18) episodes to discover each other's feelings and kiss, not long by kdramas standard but this one is definitely a slow burn, not to mention the kiss felt flat, what a shame. I wonder what is Do Gyum's past life connection with these two because based on episode 10 (19-20), Ji Woo is dreading Hyun Joo recovering her past lives' memories, which includes a third person - likely Do Gyum or Kim Sun Hee. Judging by the drama's progress, my guess is they don't intend to reveal about the past lives until the last episodes. *sigh

Kind of watching this because I'm watching at 2.0 speed after episode 4, I wouldn't say Do Gyum is evil but he…
"I personally think you’re being fair and impartial, since you don’t like both guys"
What? I like both guys! Lol I'd want them for myself if Hyun Joo doesn't. I just don't like or appreciate the things they did when it comes to Hyun Joo, they don't feel healthy, at least to me.

"I can’t help but think some people are prejudice towards a male lead, so they amplify certain so call sins but they love it when other characters do it in other dramas haha"
I don't enjoy it too when people put down one character because they favor the other. That's not how you defend your favorite character.

"Our lens are different haha I see DG as super handsome in every scene haha"
I think Do Gyum is handsome too, especially with his new hairdo, but Ji Woo is more of my cup of tea, in terms of looks I mean, not his creepy, stalking personality lol.

"I personally don’t enjoy it because it’s boring haha imagine if SB remained the same, you probably wouldn’t enjoy it as much. We want to see character development."
I feel you. I have been frustrated and disappointed by my favorite actors' characterization before, some are just downright awful I don't want to speak of the dramas ever again, but if I have to choose between boring and awful, I'd choose the former lol.

Edited:
"JW is not only a stalker but he got JH blacklisted in her career so only she can work for his company and he often gets drunk so she has to take care of him haha"
While this is true, I think Ji Woo more than makes it up to her by agreeing to her reinstatement terms, that if the company is profitable after 3 years, it'd be hers. Honestly, this is a much better deal than her working and groveling for people who don't appreciate her talent. I'm actually glad that she went back and used the position as both payback and stepping stone, smart girl.

Title Backstreet Rookie Spoiler
"I predicted this last episode but misunderstandings and lack of communication bothers me like it did with the…
"I suppose the sticking issue is that if SB friend didn’t call her out on her obviously bogus lie, what would had happened instead"
I didn't consider that because it didn't happen so it's not an option. However, even if that friend didn't interfere and was not there to call out on Saet Byul's lie, I doubt Dae Hyun wouldn't suspect Saet Byul is in trouble based on her bruises, naturally, he'd discover it one way or another. Dae Hyun is naive but he's not a complete fool, we were shown instances where he was aware of things going on under his nose but let it slip (like her sister stealing from the shop), likewise, the fact that he quickly accepted Saet Byul's words showed he was reserving judgment and waiting for her to open up to him. And it's in line with his non-confrontational character to wait instead of forcing the truth out of her.

"And if fighting is not the answer, then why did she resort back to fighting to retrieve the phone? "
The circumstances had changed. Before the leaked photos, Saet byul had the options of solving it with her fists, or take a hit to placate the iljins, she chose the latter, which shows she had grown out of her old ways and willing to consider other options. But after the photos and videos were leaked, and indirectly affected puppy, Saet Byul ran out of options. The fact that she asked Dae Hyun to trust her no matter what she did showed she realized it was wrong.

"I agree, that she’s willing to be vulnerable but she’s doing it consistently in the latter half. "
I guess the love and warmth she received from them slowly torn down her wall. She was forced to grow up and take care of her sister almost overnight, she tried to be strong and unaffected for her sister's sake, but it's clear Saet Byul was craving love and attention herself.

"I know she’s jealous but my argument is that SB is hypocritical and has a double standard and DH & YJ was dating."
She didn't go beyond getting upset though, which is a normal reaction considering her long-standing crush on him. Also, Saet Byul did realize she was wrong for the skinship, so she was willing to quit her job when Yeon Joo asked her.

"I rewind their interactions in my head and it doesn’t play out gradually and naturally."
I have no opinion on this because honestly, I think this is very subjective, just like OTP chemistry in dramas, we all feel and react to things very differently.

"Okay, I suppose I understand your sympathy of EB although she causes so much problems with her actions and lack of critical thinking haha"
I understand what you mean. There were many instances I just want to reach into the screen and smack her, but when she said things like "giving Saet Byul a better life", I just feel so much for this kid. She still needs smacking for sure, but ultimately, she's a good kid at heart.

"Thanks again for your thoughts and insights! I always appreciate them because they’re grounded and delivered kindly without sharp rebukes haha"
Thank you for your kind words and I understand what you mean. I enjoy discussing opinions and insights and understand what makes people tick in a show, but I do not enjoy people getting defensive over opinion to the point of forcing theirs down my throat, I usually just run for the hills haha.

Episode 13 was very annoying. I’m not saying YJ and SB are the same but SB showcased some similar qualities.…
"I predicted this last episode but misunderstandings and lack of communication bothers me like it did with the Female Leads in..."
This is literally one of my pet peeves in dramaland, I hate it when they pull the "I'm gonna suffer on my own and keep this from you to spare you the pain"-I call it BS card. Sometimes they'd talk about honesty and not keeping secrets from each other just a couple episodes back, and the moment something comes up, they forget everything and immediately revert to their old selves.

However, the way I see it in this episode, Saet Byul didn't put up much of a fight when her friend brought her to Dae Hyun and she knew her "falling off the stairs" excuse wasn't going to fool Dae Hyun, but she lied anyway because she was feeling like a failure (for not being able to protect Eun Byul and raise her better) and weak (because she let herself get beaten up), it's not a side of her that she wants Dae Hyun to see and the way she crumbled in his arms afterward suggests she was letting her wall down. Granted, she still hid things from him but I had a feeling that Dae Hyun already knew and let her be, because when she was finally confronted with her lies, Dae Hyun told her it was not too late to change things around and honesty is still the best policy. In a way, I feel like Dae Hyun was giving Saet Byul time and space to figure things out instead of pressuring her to do things the "right" way because this is still her life, her fight.

"I despise it when a show weakens a character physical strength and make them weak and make the female lead cry all the time in the second half of a drama."
I wouldn't say they weakened her character when she let herself get beaten up, rather Saet Byul finally grew up and learned that "fighting back and winning a fight" isn't the way to win the battle. I think she let herself get beaten up to appease the iljins while she looks for ways to save Eun Byul, I doubt her life was in danger because the iljins still want to extort money from her, and she beat the crap out of them just a couple episodes ago and they're still standing lol. Also, Saet Byul has only cried in front of a selected few like Dae Hyun's mom, puppy, and now Dae Hyun, I think it goes to show that she's willing to be vulnerable in front of the people she loves.

"she got upset by the hug between YJ and DH and complained to herself that they already hugged."
She was just being jealous lol, just like Do Gyum being jealous of Hyun Joo meeting Ji Woo behind his back even though they're technically not dating.

"DH mother is nice and all but it’s too convenient for her to love and be nice SB to this extent like a daughter or niece."
I think it's because Dae Hyun's mom relates to Saet Byul a lot. During one of their conversations in the sauna, Dae Hyun's mom told Saet Byul she only had a sister to worry about but she had her entire family. I think she was initially nice to Saet Byul because she brought up the sales in the convenient store, and after a few encounters outside of it, came to like her and felt bad for her living situation, not to mention her troublemaker sister was being a pain in the ass, which mirrored her situation with her husband and kids. I actually love their relationship dynamic the most and it's one of the biggest reasons I stayed watching. I love that these two find comfort and love in each other, the way they couldn't with their own family.

I like Eun Byul, her heart is in the wrong place but I can't fault her for wanting to give a better life to Saet Byul. I actually cried at the scene where she cried to puppy asking him not to tell Saet Byul because she hated asking for favors, proves how much Eun Byul understands her sister despite being such a troublemaker. Dal Shik, on the other hand, I have no words.
