I'll check those out.. I'm always on the lookout for new shows. I have to admit that there are a lot of interesting shows which started this last week on Asian TV....Marathon weekend coming up for me. My husband is going hunting, so no interruptions...yeah me.
Yeah...I kept expecting things to get better and they never did. A lot of American TV is like that too, not the same situations but just hopeless causes. That is what really drew me to k t and c dramas in the first place. I like happy ending and am not too found of clifthangers where series get cancelled and so you don't get any resolution. If you have any good Indian shows with happy endings where the women are not totally subjugated...a little subjugation is ok...please give me you recommendations and a clue on where I can find them with eng subs. Thanks for talking with me.
I really can't remember the names, but in one the girl married a man who conned her and her family and then when he left her they were going to kill her so she ran away because she brought shame to the family, but he wasn't even her choice. Then in another one she had gone to college and earned a career she liked and her family forced her to quit her job and marry this man she had never met before and did not care for. It was either that or they would disown her. In another one her own brother came to see her only to try and kill her because she was raped and got pregnant and wouldn't marry the father. I wish I could remember some of the names but I watched these before I started recording the shows I have watched on mydramalist. I know I watched them on Viki back in the days they had fan channels. I'm sure there are better shows and I did watch one called geech? which was ok the two leads mainly stared into each other eyes a lot. But I was afraid the commit to any more after these. The were most depressing.
This is where I found it with Eng Subs http://www.dramagalaxy.tv/love-o2o-2016/1-2 I do like it better than the drama as the girl in the movie is much more suited for the role. The guy was super cute too. The guy in the drama is very drool worthy too. Both are worth watching just not one right after the other.
Ford Buachompoo and Andrew Gregson in Massaya Ok yes love Andrew Gregson
Pholdee Jesdaporn TIK, and Rogers Tera in Prissana
Aom and Mike in anything Aom's expression are so sweet.
Nadech & Yaya in anything...however both are such good actors it usually doesn't matter who they are matched with the click...but I agree their off screen charisma is great too.
Ma James and Mint Vijitvongtong Chalida from Sai Tarn Hua Jai (2017) Fell in love with Mint in Cubic and followed her to Sai Tarn Hua Jai. This pairing here clicks all the better.
I've been watching lakorns a long time. I think they are addicting like watching a train wreck you can't seem to turn away. Unfortunately, I think that lakorns do mirror the present accepted "norm" in Thailand. Forced sex seems to be acceptable foreplay and the woman seems to love the man afterwards. I liken to the practice of throwing a child in the deep end of the pool...swim or drown...a women seemed to enforce this kind of behavior. Lakorns are incredibly censored by the government/king/military drinking and violence/guns are sometimes fogged out by the censors but rape is ok? Screwed by most western moral standards. But India is even worse..if you don't do as you are told or caught not to be pure you can be abandoned or even killed by a family member. Talk about taking tough love to all time new level... I've tried 3 India shows and everyone of them were too much for me. So back to lakorns...my all time favorite are some oldies. Massaya with Andrew, Prissana with Tik, Ngao Asoke 1999 with totally unknowns, but great dialog. No rape or even forced kisses in the first two and some forced or near forced kisses in NA but the women family members stand up for each other except of course the evil other woman. Sometimes you need to turn the volume off or at least down as these women can scream and whine like no others.
I am a big fan of Taemin and Kai of EXO. On the October 19 airing of Naver's 'V' Live, Taemin talked about his best friends BTS' Jimin, EXO's Kai, Wanna One's Ha Sung Woon, HOTSHOT's Timoteo, and non-celebrity friend Jung Kwon Ho. Taemin and Kai and Jimin all became close friends because of their love of dance. Taemin and Kai talk or see each other every day if they can..It is great that they guys have such a close relationship in this high stress industry they are in. They even have formed a little "club" with their own logo that they have put on jackets. Taemin has allowed that his idea of a super group would be one formed with all his best friends. What a neat guy.
Can someone recommend me a Thai drama like this one? I just finished it and I love this type of drama so I've…
Look on my drama list for completed dramas click on country and then check out those I rated 8 or better. I've watched over 80 Lakorns which I have rated. Ma Webre
Drinking is such a wide spread socially acceptable institution in Korea that I think real social pressure on these idols and stars is going to have to start in the grass roots. And these men seem to visit adult entertainment spots quite a lot.. Yoochan had problems there too. I don't know that this is not a big hoopla about nothing...but I do know that the consumption of alcohol is not conducive to acceptable behavior in my opinion. Alcoholism runs in my family so I am very familiar with the pain it can cause the person with the illness and the people that person is close too. So, I hope that Kangin is able to get help and support.
