My favorite drama of hers is Healer.

I have watched this drama multiple times when I need a pick me up. I tend to dream about what I watch right before I go to bed. This show is a great good feeling little drama that is great to take into dreamland.

Thanks, I don't see how it can live up to the original, but I will watch it with low expectations so that I may be pleasantly surprised! LOL

I never understood the debt of gratitude where a person felt like they should take abuse because "the family" took her in...especially when they had bad intensions. This lakorn helped me to understand where that sentiment was coming from and some of the history of it. I'm not expressing myself well, so I hope you can understand what I am trying to say. LOL

Very good and well researched article. My favorite of those listed is the older version of Ngao Asoke. I think it has the best dialog and story line that explains the plot and actions of the characters.

It would be a shame if you don't watch other lakorns as there are a great many different genres. I would never watch horror movies, but I will watch suspense. The Thai version of Full House and Playful kiss "Kiss Me" are very good and rival the K versions. Prissana, Masaya, I wanna B Sup tar, Jao Sao Jum Yorm , Kao Waan Hai Noo Pen Sai Lub, The Khun Chai Series, Kiss, Love at first hate, are all good lakorns with very little if any slap.kiss and not rape involved. There are many many more. I think if I remember correctly none on the Youtube GMM involve rape.

It is also important to point out although the rapes are inferred they are not actually pictured. That fact helps me to get beyond the scene to enjoy the rest of the drama. I think also that art follows society norms and by ignoring or not acknowledging those negative norms they might never come to light and if nothing else international peer pressure may make a difference.

I'm with you...I'm going to wait to the end to commit to this drama and ...yes...I will check out the last episode before watching. I am not in the mood for a sad ending.

I've heard she will be going to jail and they will steal her baby. In that case I will wait until she gets out so start watching again...that's when the real revenge will start.

I watched this and am not sure I really cared for it. Struggled a lot and it did not have a happy ending or at least not one I understood. Would not re watch.

I enjoyed your article and it inspired me to watch the drama, which I had second thoughts about. Mainly b/c of the number of episodes, but divided into three separate stories it is much easier to contemplate. Thanks

I really like the main actors in parts that they have played before. I just don't think the dialog when they were not together was well done. The relationship between the two was worth watching, but the political message throughout was too pedantic and it didn't seemed like the actors bought it either. I am half way through and will watch until the end, but will skip through the parts where the MLs are not involved.
