As someone who read the manhwa before finding out there was a drama for it, I thought the characters were played out well by their actors. I especially loved Cha Eunwoo and his portrayal of do kyung suk, because its exactly like that in the manhwa, someone cold, stoic and awkward, but kind and straightforward as well. He never melts in the manhwa like in the drama, cha eunwoo at least smiled while the manhwa character was pretty much blank faced for nearly all the scenes in the manhwa. He was my favorite in this drama to the point of overshadowing everyone else. I wasn't completely happy with the ending for both manhwa and drama, but overall I enjoyed them both.

I skipped so many parts in the first 16 episodes alone and I don't think it's the drama for me. Way too melodramatic. I like the male lead, I feel sorry for SeokJin and wish things took a different route, but that's about it for me with this story. I can't skip through 118 episodes just for the male lead. If anyone could give spoilers or a quick summary of what happens with everyone in the end, I'd be so grateful.

I mean, did you notice how the guy that gave them jobs seemed afraid of him? He might not be top dog, but se joon would definitely survive prison.

To be honest, I don't see se joon being all that worried about prison. With his kind of personality (seriously thinking this guy is a psychopath) he'd probably survive. Yoon jae may have moved on, but I'm willing to bet it would bother him more for a really long time. In any case, I feel sorry for both these boys. But more for se joon honestly, because yoon jae never once looked like he was trying, just receives a lot and makes a lot of bad choices. If they'd grown up in normal, or even happier families, circumstances would have been different. Hell, they might never even have met.
