Are you referring to the program that FL participated in? There were 2 annoying people but for a short while. It didn't drag on and on.

Not sure about the second leads' ending but from the opening credits show the leads getting married .

XZZ couldn't save a child he operated on a few years ago. After that he had hallucinations where he sees this child. It became more serious and he had to sort this issue. He told QF that he was going to Australia but he was still in the country. He also didn't tell her about his mental issues.

The misunderstandings between the second leads are quite tiresome.
I thought that the nurse was a pretty decent person until the moment when she didn't clarify that it was XX who was taking care of him. This is not the way to win a guy's heart.

The more I watch this drama, the more unsure I am. I want them to reconcile but they are different people then they were a few years ago. At the same time I want her to with Chen Shen. He's such a nice guy and I want him to have a happy ending.

This year I have seen dramas that are quite unpredictable and we cannot even rely on the novel as the ending in the drama may differ from the novel.

It's different from ABAY in the sense the 2FL in ABAY already broke up with the guy earlier on and it was clear she moved on . So it's not a surprise she ended up with her colleague.
With A Beautiful Lie, I also doubt that there will be a twist because it's clear the both of them cannot move on. They keep dwelling in the past.

Yes that’s what I thought. He has issues that FL doesn’t know about.

For a guy who doesn’t take the risk for the girl he loves I don’t know if they can weather the future together or will he break up with her again if his job gets more dangerous or if his inferiority complex kicks in.

It might be the other way around CS breaking her heart.
I also enjoy QF’s agent. He’s a funny guy especially when he said that just because she wraps herself up like zongzi (Chinese sticky rice dumplings) doesn’t mean other people cannot recognize her.

You are so correct. It’s so painful to watch but I think he gets his happy ending with someone else.

And he’s a person who will give her up if he thinks she’s happier being with someone else. He’s such a green flag.

It’s not easy for LYZ to walk away from her but even more difficult for CS to see her heartbroken. Pick someone whom she doesn’t love? She cannot move on because she knows that LYZ hasn’t let go of her although she’s trying to.
