I have finally caught up with this drama. Really enjoying it. I cannot stand NWN aka Phantom of the Opera. She…
I find her extremely annoying but at the same time pity as well. Wang Yi Nuo the actress portraying NWN aka Phantom of the Opera( lol) mentioned in the live show a few days ago that NWN appears to have everything (money, connection, status) but she has nothing (her father doesn’t love her and uses her as a pawn, she has 3 husbands-2 deceased and present husband hates her, she has no friends apart from her maid) while JYY appears to have nothing (she is a daughter of a man labeled as a criminal, no money, no status) but she has everything that’s important (her mom and brother loves her, loyal friends and YJL’s support and love).
@PeachBlossomGoddess It also uses more idioms than the usual CD. Love the idiom used in Ep16.
The whole sentence is 身內益州的锦官关乎锦业的一草一木 阿猫阿狗 我都有义务盘问 So funny 阿猫阿狗. For those who would like to know the direct translation is: As Yizhou’s brocade officer I have the duty to interrogate any random cat and dog for anything concerning the brocade trade. Random cat and dog refers to Mr Bai. The equivalent translation of random cat and dog is’any Tom, Dick and Harry.’
Zhang Hao Wei, the original actor was involved in controversies surrounding tax evasion . It was rumored that he wanted to open business involving hiring ladies(voice recording back in 2021). They use Zhao Hua Wei's face.
How can general Nui have so much power that he can just killed a whole bunch of people in front of everyone and…
And he's only a Deputy General . The way he threatened everyone into agreeing the fake Shu Red Silk is the genuine one is frightful. He has no regard for higher authority. Military has a lot of power.
Very but it's still ok. In some scenes can still see the original actor. ZHW doesn't have too many scenes. Not sure if this will continue for future episodes.
K-Drama
IKR.. how out of character.
Her petname in chinese is 寿姑 (shòu gū)
寿 shòu means long life
That’s why it’s translated as Miss Longevity
