I didn't quite understand what he was singing. Cantonese has 9 tones so it might be too tricky for him.

I love the both MLs. One reviewer mentioned that HJY is always in cop dramas but he's so perfect for the role. Not many actors can pull it off but he did so naturally and WQZ is good for detective dramas as well. My first drama of him was the Imperial Coroner . He keeps getting better and better. Such a good drama.

In my opinion a FL doesn’t have to be a strong character. As long as there is character development I think that’s ok. I love Hua Zhi and Zhu Yun ( ZJY is suitable for strong FL roles) and I love Jiang Li.

She’s got so much potential and to those who commented about her kissing she’s very young in reality as well as in the drama. She’s done an awesome job.

Thanks. Will watch and let you know. I'm not familiar with Richie Jen's works. He's Taiwanese. The four Heavenly Kings were popular in the 90s (and even now), approximately the same era as the drama.

I have not watched up to this episode yet. Which episode is this? I will watch it later and let you know. I know there's reference to popular HK singers like Jacky Cheung.

I believe you are correct because I notice that he's the same thin self during the interviews. I did wonder about that

The main leads don't speak well because that's not their language but the others eg. drug dealers speak well.

To add on to your comprehensive comments, FL thought that in ML's eyes she was an "eyesore". That was her opinion of herself in ML's point of view. Which explains a lot. All these while growing up she put him on a pedestal but when she met him he wasn't what she believe him to be. And those words he said to her has shaken her confidence.

I know that some of the subs are bad but one cannot just draw conclusions and say that FL is cheating when she is not. If the subs are bad, come back and re-watch instead of labelling her a cheater.

I don't know if we are watching the same drama.
FL DID NOT cheat nor have any intentions to cheat on her husband.
It's either you don't understand the subs and just making your own wrong assumptions because I understand Mandarin and in none of the scenes she cheated on him.
I suggest that you go back and watch when the subs are better.
She's not dating other men. This is her job and at that day and age in male dominated workforce she is one of the very few female investigators.
If two colleagues (a man and a woman) go out together to get lunch on a lunch break , would you think they are having a affair?

Love this drama especially their use of Cantonese during drug dealings.

Extremely good especially for one so young

That’s correct. In ep 25 she explained how she thought ML perceive her. I won’t spoil it for you but the word that she used explained why she is unaware of his feelings. She’s a very unassuming girl.

His eyes are mesmerising. If I were the FL I just stare at his eyes . Lol

We ALL agree that her friend is stupid and annoying .

FL is young and impulsive. Once she knows that the girl in ML has been her all this time she will not be insecure. She thought that the girl was someone else. I am looking forward to tonight’s episode. He cared for her in his own way by actions rather than words. He is a man of action and few words.

The scene between him and Pan Chi was so funny.

MDL should ban those who think that FL should be out on the streets. I don’t think her character deserves such harsh criticism.
It’s her airhead friend. She should stay away from her.
