He loves her very much but he’s not good at expressing his feelings. (As his sister once mentioned to FL).When FL was hospitalized he was ready frantic. He thought that she moved on and is with her childhood friend. Out of the three important women in his life two have gone and he thought he lost FL to another man so he put up a barrier to protect his feelings.

I agree with you. I can accept if they are not back together however there’s trailer that he proposed marriage. I’d rather she accept her flat-mate. He stood by his friends and face problems together but ML on the other hand push away FL during difficult times. I for one am eager to have this over with so I can focus on other dramas.

He played on his conscience when he mentioned about Gao. The both of them-Gao and FZJ are the same, they have ulterior motives and hatred against LX because they know they cannot compare to him.

I love episode 14. I really like ML, he makes sure that FL doesn’t misunderstand about the girl going back with him on the same bus. When FL if they are together he corrects her on the spot that he can going back together, not together as a couple. His smug expression when he tells her the password for the card (his birthday) shows that he wants to be someone important to her. The two leads are young yet acted so well. Their chemistry is so good.
