He loves her very much but he’s not good at expressing his feelings. (As his sister once mentioned to FL).When FL was hospitalized he was ready frantic. He thought that she moved on and is with her childhood friend. Out of the three important women in his life two have gone and he thought he lost FL to another man so he put up a barrier to protect his feelings.

I am enjoying this drama so far. I like how FL turns to ML for help and he even picks up after her. ( what a dream)

I agree with you. I can accept if they are not back together however there’s trailer that he proposed marriage. I’d rather she accept her flat-mate. He stood by his friends and face problems together but ML on the other hand push away FL during difficult times. I for one am eager to have this over with so I can focus on other dramas.

He played on his conscience when he mentioned about Gao. The both of them-Gao and FZJ are the same, they have ulterior motives and hatred against LX because they know they cannot compare to him.

There’s where he made the mistake. He let emotion rule him. He allowed Gao to manipulate him by taking revenge on FZJ. He didn’t stop to think that Gao has ulterior motive. He has always wanted to get back at LX but has no gut s so he pit the two rivals against one another, telling about
the sister to FZJ then adding fuel at the funeral when he repeatedly told LX about FZJ. Now he gets half share of the co. LX realized his true colours when he was in prison

You are correct. The translation is not accurate and most of the time the meaning is lost in the translation.

Her mother is the one with the prejudice and her father just listens to her. She has mapped out her daughter’s life and she will not let anyone get in her way.

I think that’s because Gao’s skills are limited therefore the co is not at its full potential.

I love the part where she works out the installment that she’ll be paying him $2,000 over 50 months and he asked if she wants him to wait until the next life. So funny.

I love episode 14. I really like ML, he makes sure that FL doesn’t misunderstand about the girl going back with him on the same bus. When FL if they are together he corrects her on the spot that he can going back together, not together as a couple. His smug expression when he tells her the password for the card (his birthday) shows that he wants to be someone important to her. The two leads are young yet acted so well. Their chemistry is so good.

大姐pronounce as dàjiě means big sister or elder sister. It’s used sarcastically in this instance.

I totally agree. It’s a shame that the meaning gets lost in the translation. I was surprised when he referred to her as
大姐.( Big/elder sister) Usually he calls her
公主. (Princess). I love this drama. I think they should be getting together pretty soon.

I think the main reason for breakup was he didn’t want to deprive her of a proper relationship. He couldn’t even accompany her so he probably felt that she’s better off without him but he still loves her very much . I think the drama will be better than novel if no abortion and no kissing another woman.

According to FL he doesn’t trust her to go through the difficulties with him, hence the breakup. If he’s going through all these problems he should appreciate her all the more and their relationship should be more important because she’s the pillar he can lean on. He can always count on her but the same cannot be said of him. If he faces challenges he drops her . There’s no security for her. Pretty face or not I wouldn’t want this sort of guy in my life. You’ll never know when he breaks your heart again. Better off with the other pretty face. He can be counted on.

I think that’s because there’s so much he has to do now ( passing of his father, he has to sustain the family business and deal with business rivals/enemies)that relationship is no longer that important to him. When he had no goals
dating was fun. Even though they break up they are still interacting with one another. I feel that she’s too good for him. He’s not firm enough to reject the other girl

@ztravs88, I agree with you about Fei’er. She can choose to be a better person who triumphs over the hurdles but she chose to hurt her true friends. She just one nasty piece of work. That’s just my opinion.

Me too. I am up to ep 14, too much heartbreak in the coming trailer. Might drop it.

I enjoyed this drama. The chemistry between the leads are good. I especially like how ML is towards his wife after he falls in love with her. It’s short so can finish in one day.
