Thanks for the reference. I think these young men are a bit too old for the word childe, even if that word was still in use in modern English. But, I'll get over it. The show is so seriously good! It's a minor gripe, I guess! lol

gong zi supposed to be young master right?? wetv eng translation tends to be very cringey even the names of the…
Agreed! Very "cringey" translations. That's what's bugging me. I love the Hi-def video and seriously couldn't wait any longer to watch this show. So, I'm putting up with it. But, young master (yes, you got it right!) is used so many times throughout the show and the word childe (as pointed out by Sasal) is ancient history. I've never seen it used in other subs, but apparently is is in use elsewhere in other subs. Guess I will just regress myself back to the middle ages and deal with it. lol

Is anyone watching this with english subs on WeTV? They translate 公子 (gōng zǐ) as Childe throughout the entire show. It's really bugging me. Any idea what happened there? Otherwise, the show is fantastic! And I can stream it from WeTV at literally blu-ray quality Hi-def. The quality (other than subs) is awesome!
