Ok, I enjoyed this one but honestly was expecting to love it more
I loved the storyline, but the scenario was a bit slow for such a good story.
I loved Uhm Tae Goo. He has amazing mimics, very charismatic and cute at the same time, has such a unique voice.. But didnt love Han Sun Hwa. I think she doesnt have enough mimics and her acting is limited.
I loved the relationship dynamics and love between the leads but didnt love the chemistry. They had such dull kissing scenes.
Annnd I really hated random comic effects, cartoonish sounds and visuals here and there.

The manga was pretty short to begin with, so for me it was nice that the drama took a bit more time to flesh things…
If I know they manga to start with, I might enjoy it more. But as a series audience that was my review...

This isnt your classic romance drama . This is so much more. Very deep, very strong, nothing 'too much', nothing 'very little'.
Somehow Namkoong Min turns everything into a piece of art when he is in. That is crazy.

You know sometimes there is this expected but unhappy finale that you know is going to happen but dont want it to happen. But still think if they change the finale to something happier its going to ruin everything. So even tho you want to watch a happy finale for the characters, you still think it is better having a sad finale for the series and you start wanting that... That is what happened for this show. I know everything I just wrote sounds crazy, but you know that means something.

If Im not rating this 10/10, the only reason is I couldnt feel any chemistry between the leads. They could pair someone else with sparkles between them. Plus kissing scenes were dull. Other than that, perfect.

I can only think of a couple of words that can describe this series: mature, deep, heavy, emotional...
This isnt your usual bubbly BL. This is something bigger, something more. Somehow calling this a bl show is just not enough, because this is not boy love. This is like a very serious historical, political series that have some people love eachother whom are happened to be men.
Casting is a piece of art, music is a piece of art, directing, costumes, locations... All are pieces of art. Most of all, Mile and Apo are just flawless. Acting was perfect, I could feel every emotion through their eyes. They are perfect. Probably the best actors in this industry.
In a world every erotic, romcom bl series are overrated; this one is seriously underrated.
On The Journey to Killing You Dec 13, 2025
Japanese productions somehow always take a great story and ruin it when trying to turn into a 6-7 episode short series with 20 min episodes each. This one was the same case. It was extremely rushed, waste of a great scenario.
On When It Rains, It Pours Dec 11, 2025
Grief, guilt, asexualism, lonelines... So many psychological problems... These are such heavy and sensitive topics. And I thought this show had a very dull way to tell about those. Unfortunatelly I didnt enjoy it. I feel like people like a slow, grey, dramatic Japanese bl no matter what. I think this one was meehh, there are way better ones out there.

You think his partner will be onset as his Cerberus? One commenter called his partner a Cerberus, the way he’s…
I think the filming is done now. And Im sure Offroad is just as obsessive as Daou but he just doesnt show it on camera. Everybody from their circle says that Offroad is more clingy to Daou lol

Daou is Cerberus? lol This is so accurate. As far as I stalk them, unfortunatelly Daou didnt get to follow Offroad onset because he was busy most of the time.

as much as I enjoy all the skinship and stuff, objectively I feel like there are so much erotism in this series. It over shadows the whole romance and the whole scenario. It is nearly pornographic whic is too much. I mean, it feels like its a bait for bl fans. Is it good? Yes, but if you think it through, too much

This was freaking crazy!! I know everybody has different taste, people might like it or not whatever. But I strongly believe if people hate this, or have really bad reviews, they just like cliche storylines, cheesy series or things that we watch everyday everywhere.
You know even when you watch the best out of the best, you usually can guess what will happen in the next episode, this is one of the rarest series that you can not guess anything!!! Yes there were some wild situtations but that was the whole story of the series. Wicked and wild!
Pheem was such a complicated character. He wasnt pure good or pure bad but we loved and accepted him. HE did the worst mistakes yet felt sorry, learnt from them, saw the right way. He wasnt evil, he was hurt, he was damaged, his soul was sick... HE grew up twisted. And Offroad the actor you are!!! He deserves so many awards this year, he was one of the best actors I've seen for a looooong time!!
And Than... HE was the pure good. He was everything you can ask from a man. HE was the embodiment of model citizen. Daou... You are just as perfect as Offroad...
I hated some characters, loved some, got angry, god sad, got happy, cried, laughed... This was an emotional roller coaster. And all these feelings that the series gave me, simply means this was a really good series. I just loved it! The only thing I didnt like was the effects but well, I can ignore them...
And Daou Offroad... They are my faves for the longest time. I just adore and love them. But I promise my reviews about the series are objective. Just go and watch it if you are looking for something out of the ordinary, something fresh and new, amazing cast and a roller coaster!

I enjoyed the general story a lot. Supernatural romance is just my style and this was a good one. I had some problems here and there tho. Sometimes the story was super slow, sometimes they barely had any conversation and I wanted to skip, sometimes makeup or effects were too fake. Overall I liked it but I must stay it is still a bit overrated.

Its my first time watching all 4 leads. I fell in love with Keng and Firstone immediately. They are both amazing actors and super charming. Namping was a bit robotic for me and Tle was just behind all other actors so Im not head over heels for either of them.

I should say this series had some of the best NG scenes out there. They were erotic but not pornographic, romantic but still sexy. Perfectly balanced, crafted like a piece of art. I know NG scenes are a big deal in bl world and somehow people seem to like very naughty and over the line NG scenes but I dont like that kind of stuff. Those feel like they are baits for the bl fans. These ones were not like that.

One criticism, might be a spoiler be careful for this sentence, it was the stupidest thing watching them run away from the evil spirits with a race car...

Oh as a grown ass woman, I just fell in love with Peem, his pants and his tattoos. Thats all for the review :))

Bl fans will justify everything for their idols. Lol. I mean, bible is a serial killer and fans still love him
Omg these are just TV series, full fiction. Nothing serious. Chill... Nobody would love a serial killer for real lol.
And on this spesific case, I didnt say pheem is pure goodhearted soft bubbly plush bear, I just said he has problems that make him a victim as well, not someone to hate blindly. Plus, if your argument is about supporting idols, every kind of fan can do it(dont make me start on freaky fans of kpop idols ), you dont need to underline as 'bl fans'.
On The Wicked Game Nov 2, 2025
Whoever hates Pheem, just think about what he's been through, his past and what was his motivation, his only goal growing up. .. Its not easy to change your point of view, the aim of your life just in a couple of days. Just look at the story from his window. He is also a victim. He is broken and twisted. He needs someone to heal him. I just hope they can make time to heal eachother before everything is completely ruined.

I prefer this kind of romance for drama with traditional settings. Romantic relationship between man and woman…
Well, you might be right. But when she time travels, I expect more of an unconservative relationship. This was not a complete sageuk after all.
Plus as I said before Moon Lovers is my fav drama. They had such a passionate relationship even when they werent touchy touchy in the first phase of their relationship. I think that is a good example of what I expect. When I say passion and chemistry, I dont just mean skinship.
On Bon Appetit, Your Majesty Oct 31, 2025
I think this was a knock off of Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart Ryeo. Inspired by it, badly remade. In theory this series had everything I love: fiction, time travel, romance, great lead actors, a touch of comedy etc. But something was missing. I dont know exactly what but just like in the series, this was like a potentially perfect meal but needed seasoning. I think it was lack of romance. Especially when I compare it with Moon Lovers (which is my ultimate fav korean drama) there was no passion, chemistry and a legendary love story. I know it is the whole theme but also I can say there were so much food scenes, it was almost like a food show. Food related scenes were more than half of every episode which gets a bit boring by time (I skipped a lot of them). I love the finale but I didnt like the fact that even they couldnt explain how he travelled the time, they were like 'its not impportant he just came'. Believe it or not, even fiction need some logical chain in it.

Anyways, good ingredients, mediocre final product.
