When everybody talks about something, I watch it asap! But this time I was travelling, busy, didnt have wifi etc. so had to watch it months later.. Through these months, I saw how everybody loved this, praised this and even missed those characters. So obviously I was super curious and had high, oh no, extremely high expectations. But now, unfotunatelly I found it overrarted. Dont misunderstand me, my rate is still pretty high. But like, this show is what all bl town talks about so I expected something mind blowing. I like the story, I even enjoyed the old original one. I think the story is good and unique but the production and quality was bad. Especially dubbing was very poorly made. I freaking loved Chi Cheng!!! I am one of those losers who always fall for the bad guy. But in this case, Chi Cheng was the good guy who had bad guy illusion. He was almost perfect. I say almost, because I really hate romanticising abusive and non-consent behaviors in relationships, that was awful and maybe triggering for many paople. And Wei Wei... Until the last 2-3 episodes he was super annoying and didnt deserve Chi Cheng's love at all. I mostly didnt like him. Finale was cute, they could've give us some more sweetness but thats ok. Overall I enjoyed it a lot but is this worthy of being the most talked and loved bl of the year? Im not sure..
PS. I realized that RL has such hardcore fans(I think they are mostly teenagers) even here in the comments. When someone doesnt like the show and criticize, fans automatically call them 'hater' or 'anti' which is so childish. What do you guys think? Do you think when you or majority likes something everybody also has to? When somebody thinks different than you they are just haters? They cant genuinely think or feel like that? I am shocked by the bashing! Grow up people! You just make your fandom look bad thats all. Not everybody has to enjoy RL. Let people comment whatever they want. We watch these shows to have fun and you turn this into something super serious and stressful. If you are not a part of the production team, please stop!!! LOL
This series has a very cute story line and very good cast. I loved every actor and their characters individually. And I must say I enjoyed a lot that they didnt include any evil character or an unnecessary drama to the scenario. I know this was the HIT of the year, everybody loved and talked about it. But to be honest, dont you think it was a bit boring? I mean, since I didnt have time before, I watched quite late and I was exposed all the praising and WilliamEst fangirling all around. So I had EXTREME expectations. I liked it but thought it was really overrated. comparing to all that hype. Also, before watching it I had the chance of observing Est and William in their real life. And I can clearly say that they are 100 times more cute and they have 100 times better chemistry in real. Maybe thats because they didnt have enough workshops before making the series and their relationship got better and closer by time, at the end of the series or even after. But I thought their chemistry was not on top during the episodes. Anyways, I know Thame Po has hardcore fans, almost like Mars fans hahahahha. So I hope I dont get bashed for not loving it lol.
With that finale my rate went down from 7 to 5. Good story, bad quality, bad lipsync, horrible finale. spoiler alert! Really bad big brother, leading his brother knowing about all his feelings and then abandoning him.. We should fear the ones who seem innocent the most!
I really really liked this in general. I loved the storyline and the actors. But since its a VERY short series, everything happened super fast. which made it all weird and unnatural. I wish it had like at least 8 episodes, it'd make an amazing series.
This was a cute series. I loved how every actor was extremely talented. Also loved Yang Eun O. He was such a mature and sensitive person. I just didnt like Han Ji Won. He was dull, boring and very depressive. I'd prefer someone with a higher energy. Still, enjoyed it all.
I had my eyes on Pond since Century of Love. He was great there, and then I kept watching him. He is a really talented actor, he has an outstanding charisma and very handsome. Here, I found his acting a bit 'dramatic' if you know what I mean. I wouldn dare to say bad, but just a bit too much. Thats okay, he still was great. Tada and Min had a very healthy, supporting and respectful relationship which we dont get to see very often and I really enjoyed watching them. Especially Tada was the embodiment of 'dream boyfriend'. He was just perfect, flawless. I loved him!!! He put everything in the relationship and was one of the best characters I've ever seen in a bl. And Peterpan... (what an amazing name) I've never ever heard of his name before but from now on, he is on my radar! I simply loved him. He is both talented and handsome. You easily can say that I came for Pond, stayed for Peterpan. The show was good overall, I think people might be overrating it a bit but thats fine. It still is good, I just think all these comments made me have higher expectations, thats it. Anyways, good show, great cast!
Pit Babe is one of my fav thai bls ever. This season OBVIOUSLY is not as good as the first one. Not even close. I had major disappointment. We didnt get those legendary Pit Babe NC scenes, no real deep conversations, nothing abaout relationships, nothing to make us connect with the story or the characters. Everything was like a badly made, low budget actiong movie. Especially the last episode. OMG!!! It was so poorly written. The finale was really rushed. From action scenes to wedding and memory coming back... Everything were really meaningless and not well thought. Still, I just enjoyed watching it afterall, whats wrong with me!!!! I dont know what it is about this show but even if they make really boring 5 seasons, I'll end up watching them. I just love the vibe, atmosphere, actors and the energy they have. And ofcourse Pavel. He really is an outstanding actor. I love him so much, Overall, If you have high expectations, think twice before watching it. If you are a loyal Pit Babe/Pavel fan, go for it.
Opinion from another 30+ i don't think age has anything to do with it. Different people different taste yes but…
Oh you might be right then, maybe its not about age, I just personally didnt like it. I thought I didnt like because it was very childish for my age but if you as a 30+ person liked it, then it was just me lol
If you want to experience real ForceBook chemistry watch ONLY FRIENDS. I just finished it and Book came out as…
Yes I dÅŸd. And yes the character was completely different but Force was Force. Frozen eyes, bare minimum emotions and he was like a wooden stick. This might sound meaningless but I still like him because I watch their bts scenes and interviews etc and he is such a cute person so I just find him as a bad actor but a lovely person.
About tsundere character, just because he has similar roles doesnt make him a bad actor. Also there are MANY actors who plays tsundere most of the time and they are not the same in each role. For example Boss, Boun or Earth.

Since I didnt pay attention, you might be right about Faifa Wine part. But also I said I loved Faifa anyways.
About Force, I watched EVERY series of him and I think he is the same in every one of them, including Only Friends which I watched the moment it aired. But honestly I think that was their best job so far. And about Book, again you might be right. Maybe he is doing his best but doesnt look very good because he doesnt get the best interaction from Force so he looks bad beside him. Maybe he had another partner, he might shine brighter. But I wouldnt want that anyways because as I said I think they look great together.
Yotha Gun story just made me sad. I was excited and had great expectations. Since they were better in Faifa Wine part, I hope they dont break the couple and we can see them in another series. Im sure they are gonna do better.
Ok I watched this mostly for Perth Santa. Was it worth it? Well... Let me tell you what I think: First part, where we watch Force and Book as Arc and Arm. They had the most classic bl storyline, you can never go wrong with that. But unfortunatelly they have really bad acting, especially Force is like a wooden stick. And honestly this makes me really sad because visually they are so pretty together and I want to like them. But... So the first part was useless... Second part which was the most important part for me, we get to watch Perth and Santa as Yotha and Gun. Now finally we have really good 2 actors. Both Perth and Santa are great actors. But this time their storyline is weird. Very slow and not romantic or logical enough for me. Ok I dont ever care about it as long as I like the couple. But I guess I had great expectations from them that made me feel disappointed. I was expecting fireworks, extreme chemistry and sexiness yet I found awkwardness. I think they didnt do enough workshops together before the series. And lastly the 3rd part. Honestly I wasnt paying enough attention to this part because I was disappointed about Perth and Santa. All I can say is that Junior who plays Faifah was, I think, the best actor and also the best character in the series. I loved him through all chapters. And also in this part, maybe because they get to spend more time together and get used to eachother, Perth and Santa had greater chemistry and balance with eachother. Overall, mehhhhhh

I used press on nails after the show. felt good hahhaha
