The most disturbing thing about the VP scenes was that poor hedgehog in that little cage. OMG please tell me that animals aren't really treated like that!!! Hedgies in the wild run miles every night they at least need a wheel and place to move around (plus they love toys) =(((
Watched Season 1 and it was an easy 10 and pure perfection for me. Was worried about Season 2 since Season 1 was so damn good, but it turns out Season 2 was even better!
......One thing I do find funny, that I am surprised I haven't seen mentioned, is that it says they were apart for 76,692 hours. LOL, did the writing department not do the math? Cause that is not even close to the 5 years that the lead characters keep mentioning they spent apart. That many hours is like 9 years.
So I don't watch on iqiyi, but I thought they were releasing the subbed episodes but I just saw a comment saying it takes a few hours for subs to come out.
When I first started watching kdramas in 2010 I read that this had a sad ending so I put this on my don't watch list, but I just read that it has a happy ending. Can someone please tell me the ending? Thanks
Just finished rewatching this and gosh do I love this one sooooo much. Really hate that stupid China ban. Hopefully they remake this somewhere else but the last update was so long ago who knows if that will happen.
Ok since I have seen this mentioned a few times and I am sure people don't want to scroll down from years ago…
Both movies end with a happy ending but not a complete story. For example this one just kind of cuts out after they talk about going to do something and the 2nd movie ends with them living together but a misunderstanding was about to happen and the scene cuts. Again this is because they were going to film a 3rd movie that would have covered the rest of the novel and showed them getting married.
But if you want to continue the story there are 2 web novels that are translated.
Ok since I have seen this mentioned a few times and I am sure people don't want to scroll down from years ago .... I Love You as a Man was released in theatres but they had a time limit and limit on what they could show. So right after the movie release, they released a web version which was split into episodes and like 2 hours+ longer. Like Love was the name they gave the show. They also released an uncut version that had borderline graphic sex scenes. (If you scroll down you can find the links for the uncut version and the show version is up on Dailymotion.)
I Love You as a Man 2 is the second part of the story and does NOT have any of the same scenes as Like Love. I Love You as a Man 2 has two versions the theatre released one and the uncut extended one which is an hour+ longer and has borderline graphic sex scenes.
...Right after the second movie was released and right before they were going to film the 3rd and final part (which would have covered the remainder of the novel) China put a ban on all LGBTQ+ things so that movie was never able to be made. (This is also the reason we didn't get a lot of other second seasons that had already been announced like Addicted and Fall in Love with a Love Rival. Some of the actors from the shows were even banned from acting together in future projects for like 10 years.)
When I started this I had not read 1 thing about it, so I had no clue covid changed the second half of the series. In fact, I was going to come on here and talk about how it felt like 2 different shows put together. But to be honest I actually much MUCH prefer the second half. I had zero interest in anything besides Tutor and Fighter so I was bored with a lot of the 1st half of this drama. The first half was 30/40% an episode on T/F, 30/40% on Z/S, and the rest of each episode on random other couples. But the second half was 90+ % Tutor/Fighter so it developed their story a lot more plus it was filled with tons of cuteness. I think if the story continued how it should have I would have not liked this nearly as much as I ended up liking it.
Super cute! Loved the mind-reading (wish there were more shows with it) and loved the love interest but I wish the male lead wasn't so timid. I just don't like that in characters and wish it was toned down a little but overall I really liked this.
Love Mik and the romance was cute but it was 80ish % action and focus on the terrorist group stuff, so I was pretty bored since that's not really my thing.
Is there love triangle in this series ??If so can u spoil it for me??
The first few episodes before the time jump the male lead likes the 2nd female lead but she likes the 2nd male lead. After the time jump he is just her friend. Also after the time jump he starts out hating the female lead but pretty fast becomes obsessed with her and gets jealous of her talking to other guys. So no there isn't really any love triangle.
