I was also team OR besides the fact that he was clearly way in love with her, I also liked that she wasn't apart of all the killing and violence, and that she was just a normal person who happened to be in love with a freedom fighter.

after watching the final episode im convinced that kbs and the writers purposely killed her off because they were upset at the actress for double booking dramas (and for taking off for a week while filming). her death didn't add anything to the narrative and why would you kill off only one person and have pretty much all the others get happy endings. it was basically a slap in the face saying you double booked on us AGAIN, lets just kill you off AGAIN.

hi hi ... this is actually my first time doing a drama goal, I want to try and watch 120 dramas total by the end of 2014 but I also want to watch a certain amount of Japanese, family, daily dramas etc. so I ended up with a bunch of goals haha... I don't speedwatch ever I feel like im missing stuff if I do but I get bored sometimes so I have like 75 dramas on my currently watching list because I keep wanting to start new shows. once in awhile ill find a really good drama that I end up marathoning but most of the time it takes me weeks to finish a drama since ill only watch a couple episodes at once.


your favorite list has pretty much the same dramas as mine you have great taste =)))

It's 32 episode order according to all other sites someone just changed it to 50 here I never believe the numbers anymore since anyone can change them

the way dong chan says ajumma reminds me so much of how Enrique from flower boys next door says it ( more like a term of endearment than actually saying lady ) its so cute I just love him.

i was in the middle of watching the first episode and the directing was just so good so i had to look to see if it was the same director as knife flower and white Christmas, and yep its the same person. this guy is officially my favorite drama director

someone on mbc America's facebook page asked for mothers garden and this was the response "We are currently lobbying to bring this fantastic drama for our viewers! Keep your fingers crossed!"

After watching the ending I'm so glad I put this on hold at episode 20. it's now going in my dropped list. Congrats on being the first show I ever started watching and dropped.

@amela the reason its a wait is because it was only licensed from dramafever (and not viki) and they stated on their site new episodes are out only mondays. =(. The other group that is fan subbing it is darksmurf and they have to wait for the chinese subs (since thats what they upload and use to translate) and that also takes some time.

But if you are like me and watch it raw as soon as its out, koalasplayground.com has been recapping and she puts them out normally that day so it helps to at least understand anything you might miss.

But ji hyun has got to be the worst mother ever. One child she abandons and doesn't even tell the father about for like 15 years simply because of her pride. And the other child she tells if you don't have an abortion I'm going to kill myself. I don't care if her daughter is in middle school how can any parent be that selfish. when her daughter said she tried to have an abortion but couldn't, don't you think that if she actually did have one it would scar her for life. Great mothering skills lady. I'm just glad she ended up shaping up later on in the drama.

Edited after finishing ... Love this drama and I loved seeing uhm being different from his normal type of role. Plus there were lots of good kisses, man I wish there were more cable shows since they always seem to have great kiss scenes.
