Okay, So I'll say a word now. I don't think that if I'm speaking about someones carrier it means that I support…
I understand admiring him as an actor, but there is proof (in the form of him admitting he did it, probably the strongest proof out there). Your article comments on the scandal and argues that he is a great man while telling people not to comment on the scandal. You ask others not to comment on his private life while doing so yourself- is it different because you are on his side? This isn't like IMDB, which just catalogs work- you are promoting his career. If he makes better choices and turns himself around in the future, fine, but this article right now is in very poor taste.
Hope for losers? You have to have something to love. Losers do not have anything. Writers lack common sense.
I don't think he's a loser. The character is a talented artist and very caring towards others, even if he does overstep his bounds often. I dislike when leads are "perfect." I would rather have a flawed character that grows than a perfect character who doesn't change at all. Hogu's weaknesses are stronger than his strengths at first, but eventually he becomes a more mature person who believes in his own worth, letting his strengths shine through. Maybe you just prefer grittier or more idealized characters.
So even though Kang Cheol didn't turn out to be gay, I like that no one but his parents and maybe Ho Kyeong actually gave a shit one way or the other. I was worried about the story would handle the issue, and I don't know if I love it, but thinking he was gay did make Kang Cheol into a better person. I disliked the treatment idea but in his case it somewhat made sense that he needed to explore his feelings more to really understand himself either way. I mean, he thought he was gay because he thought the one person in his life he'd ever had any interest or curiosity about was a man- when you think about it, that means he really never bothered to interact with anyone.
I love that Do Hee can still curse up a storm in the last episode.
Just watched the first episode and the resemblance of Sato Takeru and Kamenashi Kazuya is uncanny! If I wasn't…
I've spent so much extra time on this drama because of this...kept rewinding and going "He looks exactly like Kamenashi Kazuya there!!!" They should put them in something as brothers or twins...they're both great actors.
I love this post! I have been searching for movies like these because I loved Kimi Ni Todoke, Lovely Complex and Highschool Debut, but hadn't been able to find anymore. I've only seen one of these before!
Why is Lee Yoon Hoo a main character in this drama? If so then Il Rak, Min Hee, Shi Won, Soo Min should all be…
Yeah, especially since he's the only other one billed that way. I do think he's more important than the rest of the orchestra, because he acts as a spur to many of Yoo Jin's choices, but I don't think he's more important than, say, Il Rak.
Wow I was waiting for this movie to show up on this website. This was such a cute movie but did anyone noticed…
I reviewed this and mentioned the skin thing. My problem isn't with the culture, it's that there is an industry spanning different cultures including my own that involves dangerous ways to lighten skin.
I agree with some points wholeheartedly, and disagree with others. Catherine DeBourgh as a kdrama mom is pretty…
I guess my main point of contention is that Gu Jun Pyo openly antagonized Jan Di, while aside from a slight early on and being socially awkward, Darcy is pretty much trying to be nice to Lizzie the whole time. There is another parallel, though, where they both think the girl is into them while she is totally not. :)The Taiwanese version of Jan Di was way more like Lizzie, I agree. She wasn't silly. Lizzie was pretty proud herself. She never begged anyone to let her be with Darcy- she just calmly informed CDB that if she wanted to be with Darcy, she would be. I do think this would make a perfect K drama (got the cast already picked out- Daniel Choi as Darcy) I just think the story is fundamentally different in small ways.
I love that Do Hee can still curse up a storm in the last episode.
