I agree with some points wholeheartedly, and disagree with others. Catherine DeBourgh as a kdrama mom is pretty spot on. (Darcy also decided to play evil mom at one point, with Bingly and Jane.) But the whole point of pride and prejudice is that Darcy was not actually as much of a jerk as he appeared to be, while Gu Jun Pyo kinda grew into being a better person. Also, Lizzie wasn't poor. Her family had a high social standing as she was the daughter of a gentleman. (Although her mom being really silly and her uncle being involved in trade were a problem.) There was a clause attached to her father's property that his yearly income and property could only go through the male line, and her parents only had girls. Meaning that Elizabeth lived the life of a well-off girl but would be poor when her father died, if she didn't marry well. P&P did boast 2 evil second leads though, Bingley's sister and Wickham. And there are enough misunderstandings in the book to fuel 6 kdramas.

He does look a lot like Seo In Guk, especially the eyes and face shape. They should be in something together as brothers.

Just one question, what kind of f'in asswipe takes joy in hurting his friend? True friends don't do what Jin Hoo…
Hm, we definitely saw it differently. I thought he kissed Jan Di because he kind of liked her, but more got comfort from her. Right before the fight, when she leaves his house after their "date", he asks the picture of the model if he should have let Jan Di go. I thought what he was saying about the robot is that he said all those horrible things about Jan Di and provoked Jun Pyo to fight at the hockey rink because of the Robot. And the Robot wasn't just a toy, it was the last thing his father gave him before he died. I don't actually know why I'm defending the show, I don't even like it that much. But if you hated this one, don't watch the Taiwanese one with Jerry Yan!

Okay, sorry you didn't like it. My understanding of the story is that Ji Ho did like Jan Di, that's in the Japanese and Chinese versions too. Then in this, he realizes Jan Di likes Gu Jun Pyo, but Gu Jun Pyo is still angry at her, so he makes Jun Pyo angry at him to get him to realize he still likes Jan Di. I like the Japanese version a bit better too, just saying what I think happened.

The description of the related shows are wrong, but I don't know how to fix them.

I understand your frustration, but what's with all the cussing?

I love Lee Hana in this.. She was willing to be weird. The character didn't start quirky and then get "fixed" halfway through. she stayed who she was. I think that's fantastic.

If they can get a 13 years old to play the girl you'd think they could get teens to play the lead males too...or at least 18 -19 year olds...why in the world in she the love interest for two 23 year old actors

The chemistry, omg. They found the perfect actors. They make the characters seem like soul mates.

I like it so far. Has a very 70s cop show to it- some very silly moments, but you still care about what happens. Can't wait to see Seung Gi in more chase scenes...and locker room scenes,,,

People on this site don't like when you review a series before it's done. They're not trying to be rude, it's just not helpful, especially from just the first episode. You can review individual episodes by going to Episode Guide and then clicking on the episode number.
