I haven't had this with a K-drama, but the first time I tried to watch Hana Yori Dango I couldn't believe the weird looking, tiny kid they had playing the main character. (Especially since I was comparing him to Lee Min Ho.) Later I watched Gokusen and Kimi wa Petto, and loved the guy who played the lead in both. Of course, I looked him up and discovered he was Matsumoto Jun, AKA that weird looking guy from Hana Yori Dango. I still prefer him with long hair, but I've at least been able to finish HYD.

I'd like a sequel with Dean as the main character.

Love him. I would never watch K dramas even when my friend wanted me to, but I saw my tutor friend 2 and really like him, so I looked up his work and watched the musical.

I loved it, but I think it's just going to be one of those dramas where you either love it or you hate it. For instance, people absolutley love Nodame Cantabile <sp?&gt; and I just can't stand it, even though I want to like it.

No, I totally agree. Especially since at least one had a painful injury that she was treating with this drug.

I don't think this is fair or helpful to drug users. But, don't hate me for saying this, it's slightly reassuring to know there's a country where famous actors and actresses can also go to jail for doing illegal things. That doesn't seem to be the case in the US.

Oh god! Yeah, I can see why you would worry. I don't really watch/like horror, so I couldn't watch the first few episodes at night.

Towards the middle of the drama the ghosts aren't shown as frequently, and they don't really jump out at people at all. But in the beginning episodes they jump out a lot. Maybe you could read the recaps for those on Dramabeans and then watch the rest? Because it's a really good show.

I know, she is one of my favorite characters in that show.

It's a little simplistic to say he's 10 years old in his mind. I don't think they should have put it that way. For one thing, he has the hormones of a fully grown man. Also, he's shown that he does have adult thoughts and emotions, but he can't express them well. My grandfather is mid-to high-functioning autistic and he married and had kids.

Why is the girl who plays In Hae listed as a guest role? She's in almost every episode.

I really liked Down with Love. It was kinda corny but in the best way.

I had the same problem! I actually disliked myself for how much I enjoyed the show. I eventually just gave it a 6.

Yeah, I was surprised by the other versions, but this one made me way more uncomfortable.
