The second bird whistle that Yul gave to MD in last episode (Ep 14) might be of use in the future. I think MD will be trapped or locked somewhere, and then she uses it to call the bird, getting Yul or Uk's attention to find/save her.

I dropped many other costume/historical drama too. The good thing about this AoS is the cinematography is very good. The actors and actresses portray their characters very well. The early episodes are exciting, full of actions and beautiful scenes, then everything will slow down a little bit. Actions will be reduced. Romance and comedy will occupy more time slots. It is not as perfect as I thought, but it is still a good drama to watch. You can try a few episodes and decide whether you will continue watching it or not.

The last wuxia drama that I found good was last year's Word of Honor. Did you watch it?

Some of my friends said he looks very much like LJW (Uk), especially when they both smile. I didn't pay attention to it, but then yeah, I see some similarities.

1. Yul has to pretend he keeps MD by his side for a while because of his promise to CP. He told MD she can go serve Uk whenever she wants.
2. Yul asked MD to promise "helping" him when he would take somebody with him going home. It is obvious he will ask MD whether she is willing to go with him when the time comes. MD will be free to decide. If MD doesn't want to go with him, he will not force her. If he intends to force her, he can just take her without asking for her help to decide. He is her master now.
3. Yul congratulated Uk for mastering Chisu.
I think Yul is a good man and a good friend. He won't get MD in the end. But he will surely fight side by side with Uk, MD, and Dang Gu against the villains one day.
Now, let's not focus on the love triangle. The story should have moved on to more serious topics. It is not entirely a love drama. The romance is enough already. More exciting plots and actions please, Mr. Director. I am excited when Master Lee said he is a soul shifter. If it is true, he can help Naksu. Oh yeah. 😃😃😃

I agree he looks bad doing this, and things won't get better by separating Uk and Deok, but he has no ill intention. He is not really a bad guy. I don't hate him for trying to do what he thinks is right. He is a character that has been thinking too much from the beginning. At least now we can watch him in some actions. People make mistakes. I hope people don't hate him too much.

Ask Kim Do Ju to help you. Park Jin will accept Kim Do Ju's request this time learning how unhappy Kim Do Ju when her request for Mudeok to enter Songrim was rejected last time. But ask Kim Do Ju that this time you would like to be a student, not a maid. Kim Do Ju is a kind person. You just need to be good to her first. 😂😂😂

Yul thinks he is protecting Uk, and probably he also thinks it is safer for Mudeok to be kept by his side while he is trying to figure out how to cure Mudeok if she runs wild. He is sekjuwon's student.

There is possibility that ice stone can recreate a body like what happened to eunuch Kim in yesterday's episode, although eunuch Kim's body was petrified instead of burnt. There is also possibility that somehow Naksu's body was not burnt but hidden by somebody somewhere. It is good you ask questions. That means you are a logic person. But keep in mind that plot holes will be unavoidable. Just enjoy the story and don't think too much. 😀

Cho Chung is Jang Gang's friend. I think Jang Gang did something bad to Cho Chung in order to switch the King's star plat to fake one. He probably switched soul with Cho Chung for a while, and got back to his body. He knew Hwansu so he was alright, but Cho Chung probably did not know Hwansu and ran wild. Just a theory. 😄

Don't be unhappy, dianalag. We all have our perspectives. This is just a discussion. In the end we can agree to disagree. But let me try to answer more of your questions.
1. In normal situation, when Naksu switched soul with the org soul in Mudeok's body, the org soul in Mudeok's body (BY) was supposed to move to Naksu's body, while Naksu's soul would move to Mudeok's body. So Uk, Yul, and Naksu, they all think the soul of Mudeok's org body has died when Naksu's body was burned. Don't ask me about moral here, because soul shift is indeed dark magic and is not supposed to be done by anybody.
2. BY is special case. She has great power and energy. She can control and do things normal people cannot do, so somehow she can choose to let Naksu enter her body without BY herself exits to Naksu's body. BY was born with ice stone's help. She does have special relation with Uk who was born with King's star. This extraordinary relation is what made her protect Uk when Gil Ju wanted to switch soul with Uk. But I do not think it is a romance/human love relation between Uk and BY.
3. I have a guess that at the end of part 1, BY would sacrifice herself to eject Naksu's soul back to Naksu's body. It could be because the Mudeok's body is injured or something else. But for sure 2 souls cannot live in 1 body forever.

Nope. So far Uk has not known the existence of BY in Mudeok's body. He only knows Naksu. Uk asked Naksu, not BY, to be his teacher. Uk said he would find the ice stone for Naksu, not for BY. Uk always enjoys Naksu's service as his beloved maid. Uk likes quarelling with Naksu, not with BY. Don't get me wrong. I like BY. She has great power, she is nice, she is kind, she is beautiful, she is smart. But in this story I think BY is more like a guardian angel/spirit/soul to both Uk and Naksu.
