I think Uk wins. CP throws away the blue egg to the pool. I think he loses his bet and has to return the egg to Mudeok, but he is unhappy so he doesn't hand it over nicely. I have said a few times, this is K-drama. No matter how weird it is, ML always gets the FL. Only very very few K-dramas the ML loses to second lead. So let's just enjoy the story with open mind. I am happy no matter who wins. They all have good intentions for the FL.

I think Yul is aware something is different with Naksu's soul shifting, but he does not know what caused the difference and for how long Naksu can stay in Mudeok's body without running wild. I don't know how long it takes for a soul shifter to last without feeding other's energy, but it seems like if its energy is imbalance like when it gets wounds, or it gets extra energy from the outside, it would get triggered to run wild.

They are different types of people. I love both Uk and Yul. In the case of Naksu, yes, Uk deserves Naksu's love more because he will do anything to protect her and does not have any doubt to break any rules for her. He just follows his heart. Yul is an obedient type. He thinks a lot before doing something. When Naksu told Yul not to see her again when they were teenagers, he stopped seeing her. Now when Yul knows Naksu as a soul shifter could run wild and could harm people, he thinks a lot how to overcome the problem. At the first episode of AoS, we saw a mother who requested Jang Gang not to kill her son who was a soul shifter and ran wild, it took a while before Jang Gang killed the son. Was Jang Gang doing something wrong there? No. Now we know that Naksu is protected by Buyeon and Naksu would not harm innocent people, but Yul does not know about it. So he is not really wrong to worry about Naksu. I am sure he is not worry about himself because he is a good fighter, but he is sad for Naksu, the girl he loves so much. He worries Naksu might hurt herself and other people when she runs wild, He thinks hard how to avoid it from happening. By doing so, I agree Yul does not deserve Naksu's love. I love all the characters in AOS, but the one I pity the most at this moment is Yul. It is normal in K-Dramas for many men to love the FL. It creates rivalry for the ML to prove he is the best for the FL. But I think it is enough. Everyone knows Uk is the clear winner. Yul is not going to get Naksu no matter what he does, no matter how much he blames himself, no matter what he is going to do to prove his love, because Naksu only loves Uk. Yul himself knows it. So Hong sisters, pls move on with Yul getting another woman that he deserves. He can still love Naksu but as a friend or without expecting her to love him back.
