I wondered that too. It seems like a plot hole, but it could be easily fixed if the containers had the color name written on them.

In my opinion, the drama handled episode 31 better than the novel. The novel felt a bit disjointed at this point, though the drama was good overall. However, I’m still disappointed with the scene where Duan Xu’s sister discovers He Simu, as the novel’s version of that moment was absolutely hilarious.

Reading some of these comments makes me wonder if we’re even watching the same drama. When exactly did the male lead become submissive?

In the novel Yan Ke is the villain of the spirit world and his obsession is the throne and He Simu. Anything more than that, I'll have to divulge the entire plot here. And the drama team can even tweak the storyline too, so no need to ruin the fun.

We can somewhat guess what the story will be. Still I'll watch for Shin Hye Sun. She is one hell of an actress. Hope this one also succeeds. 🤞

Love story in the 1970s

This was such a great run, and I’ll definitely miss it in the coming week. If anyone is wondering whether to binge it, I’d say go for it—but watch with patience and avoid skipping scenes. It’s truly a wonderfully healing drama.

After Arthur's period drama, this is the best one I've seen this year. I'm not usually drawn to period dramas since I can't really relate to them, but this one was a fantastic watch. Highly recommend it to everyone.

There’s another woman, but she already has a lover, and Duan Xu is essentially helping her escape while also avoiding his family’s pressure to marry, since he can’t openly wed a spirit. He Simu was invited too. It's quite a funny scene.

Before going to the capital He Simu basically rejects Duan Xu and in the capital Duan Xu even gets married but that was a fake marriage to return to the battlefield and stop his family from pressuring him into marriage. I want to see if they tweak it a bit or leave it as it is. Till now there are only minor tweaks, so I'm wondering.

Another thing to note is that they didn’t say she can’t hear sound, but rather that she can’t recognize tunes.

In the novel also these things aren't explained properly. My theory is that she experiences everything spiritually and just copy that to her body to get the desired outcome. That's the only explanation I can think of.
