Nice article! I do agree about Korean production quality often being better. They make it look good for sure. And they'd definitely be way better at an adaptation than Hollywood that's for sure! Also, yes Korea's zombies are the best.
Great article! I like the layout of each decade. Some of the older dramas I have heard of but hadn't seen yet. I'm going to have to find Princess Pearl and Beach Boys somewhere so I can watch them. And one of these days I will watch the Condor Heroes trilogy!
When I first started watching kdramas, I wouldn't drop any because I felt like I had to finish them. Luckily I got over that real quick and now drop dramas that don't keep my interest. Also, yes to staying away from the comment section! I always forget and go check and end up ruining my enjoyment of a drama. Great article.

The police officer was part of the case that put the big time gang boss away so she knew the FL was a witness. I don't remember much about her cause I didn't see her as a second love interest or anything. I think the police officer is chasing after the ML because she thinks he killed the gang boss and then I think she gets dragged into the underworld politics stuff. You should watch it and find out!

Okay I saw this awhile ago so I'll see if I can remember. The ML is totally in love with FL. The FL becomes a sex worker because her family has debts or needs money I think. She becomes a witness for the police in putting away this big time gang boss and like changes names and everything. She gets together with the ML but is ashamed about her past. But he already knows (even though she doesn't know that) and doesn't care and still loves her. This dude is so loyal and in love with her its so romantic. When the big time gang boss gets out of prison she runs and hides and the rest of the drama is the ML looking for her/saving her and beating up all the gangsters. The rest of the underworld gets involved cause the ML is causing such a scene all over the place rescuing the FL. And then there is like underworld politics and the drama starts to drag a bit but the ML ends up with the fiancee. The ending was messy - I remember being disappointed. But seriously watch it for the ML.

Yes it turns out she was involved in prostitution and a big human trafficking/gang case, which soon drags in even more of the underworld. Did you want more spoilers? I pretty much was watching it for the ML towards the end tho.
The last two dramas I watched while they were currently airing I lost all motivation for it because I was so tired of waiting. I finished them but my excitement was gone. So now I just wait until a drama is finished airing and then I marathon it. That way I am still connected to the characters and the plot.
