well done!

Very charming and healing romance drama! I had low expectations because of my disappointment with the Korean drama, but this drama really surprised me. This was a drama more about emotional healing and personal growth.

Story: It's about Misa who has a second chance at her life after going back in time after her dying. She has a chance to change her life while getting revenge on those that killed her. This drama was more slice of life and introspective and had more character development than the kdrama, which I felt was all melodrama and makjang. Misa was able to grow and prioritize herself. The revenge wasn't as dramatic as the kdrama but was still satisfactory. The romance was super sweet and adorable, with Misa and Wataru both being awkward but cute together. I loved the slow burn romance and their proposal scene was so romantic!
And of course the villains! Reina has some serious problems. I appreciate that the drama showed how someone's childhood can affect their life. she was a great foil to Misa. Toyoma was actually kinda meh in this drama and the husband in the kdrama was better.

Cast: Koshiba Fuka did wonderful showing Misa's growth and character development. And Satoh Takeru absolutely nailed it as Wataru. These two had great chemistry.
Shiraishi Sei's performance as Reina was intense! She did such a good job showing Reina's breakdown. I do think Lee Yi Kyung in the kdrama for the husband role did much better than Yokoyama Yu.

Overall, I'm glad I watched this! 9/10

Absolute masterpiece

Reset is how you do romance in a drama right.

Story: The drama follows Armin as he gets a second chance at life and what new choices he makes that leads him to the love of his life. This drama is totally a lakorn, with all the soap opera vibes. It was fun and ridiculous but really, this is about the romance of Tada and Armin. Everything else was secondary. This is all about falling in love and just being in love. And the YEARNING! My god it was so good. Tada and Armin together were completely mesmerizing and perfection. The way they held hands, the way Tada would kiss Armin's fingers or palm, or how Tada would caress Armin's cheek or neck 😍🔥💯 And the NC scenes in this drama were so soft and beautiful. It shows you don't need super salacious NC scenes to show the love between a couple.

Cast: Pond and Peterpan's chemistry was phenomenal. They were completely immersed in the roles and totally killed it. I had no idea Pond was that good of an actor, because I saw him in Fourever You and I was not impressed. But this proved me wrong. He was incredible and together with Peterpan they created a romance that's completely breathtaking. I hope they get more shows together.
As for side characters, the villains were kinda meh. But Weinai and Janine deserve all the love and their own drama!

Cinematography: Whoever did the lighting in this drama deserves all the praise. Best use of lighting and shadows 💯. I loved the way the lighting would focus on Armin or Tada during the love scenes, especially when they would have a beam of light focused on their eyes or hands. Beautiful play with creating shadows as well. Plus, that scene on the couch with the city lights in the background was so stunning. Extra points for the music they played during the love scenes.

Overall: I loved it! Watching this was the highlight of my Monday nights. 10/10

Best historical drama I've seen in a long time

I started watching this with no expectations and was completely blow away by how good this was. That 1st episode was the best first episode to a drama I have seen in a long time. The story and tone was set up perfectly from the first episode. The drama was tight and fast paced with hardly any filler. The romance between the FL and the ML felt believable and progressed well. They supported each other the whole time. The villains were smart and there were lots of twists, and at the end there were consequences! The fight scenes were actually really believable too. Also all that snow was like it's own character and really set the vibes for the drama.

This one had it all! Politics+family squabbles+romance+good fight scenes=10/10!
