well done!

Very charming and healing romance drama! I had low expectations because of my disappointment with the Korean drama, but this drama really surprised me. This was a drama more about emotional healing and personal growth.

Story: It's about Misa who has a second chance at her life after going back in time after her dying. She has a chance to change her life while getting revenge on those that killed her. This drama was more slice of life and introspective and had more character development than the kdrama, which I felt was all melodrama and makjang. Misa was able to grow and prioritize herself. The revenge wasn't as dramatic as the kdrama but was still satisfactory. The romance was super sweet and adorable, with Misa and Wataru both being awkward but cute together. I loved the slow burn romance and their proposal scene was so romantic!
And of course the villains! Reina has some serious problems. I appreciate that the drama showed how someone's childhood can affect their life. she was a great foil to Misa. Toyoma was actually kinda meh in this drama and the husband in the kdrama was better.

Cast: Koshiba Fuka did wonderful showing Misa's growth and character development. And Satoh Takeru absolutely nailed it as Wataru. These two had great chemistry.
Shiraishi Sei's performance as Reina was intense! She did such a good job showing Reina's breakdown. I do think Lee Yi Kyung in the kdrama for the husband role did much better than Yokoyama Yu.

Overall, I'm glad I watched this! 9/10
