The kissing part is literally what makes me stay faaaaar faaar away from American movies and dramas because ... really?

"K-drama’s most beautiful and inspiring villains of all time: Lady Mi Shil" Couldn't say it better.
I can't describe my love for this character. I didn't even dare to hate her. Yes I never wanted her win. But I loved her presence. I watched this drama 5 years ago and the characters now are not as clear in my memory. But she's still so vivid in my mind.

Oh I must confused you with my statment. I meant to say: "I like saeguk and I want to watch this drama. But people say this drama is boring. So I'm worried of wasting my time."
I watched Empress Ki, Tree With Deep Roots ( I loved it ♥) and Queen Seon Duk. Queen Seon Duk is a masterpiece! It's my favourite drama of all time and genres ♥ and I'm waiting Six Flying Dragons to ends so I can start marathoning it x3
But is King's Face worthy like these three drama I watched?

My best Saeguk is Queen Seon Duke and I think it's hard to be beaten. But a rival is always more than welcomed ♥

Can you name similar drama to this one for me? I like saeguk but I'm afraid because a lot of people say it's boring.
I don't care about romance much. I just want it to have a good plot, good acting and be interesting.

Siwon is everything in this drama. It was good at the start but then it became so dull. Could've ended at 14 episodes at max. watching the last two epsidoe was a pain.

I used to be like you until I watched Queen Seon Deok. Some dramas are too epic and amazing to be limited to 16-30 episodes. I decided to watch a long drama once in a while ever since. I think this deserves to be my next epic drama after Queen Seon Deok and Empress Ki.
