I'll go back to my point that it serves the story absolutely nothing but making the viewers disgusted. It's not a "drama or a melodrama or life genre". It's a comedy. So yes I will not be thinking deep about her life but be disgusted at how the director handled it.
Call it what you want. Doesn't change the fact you're trying to defend a fictional character even if you downplay other people mental health in your way, mental health professional!!!.

How do you know I am privileged and my mental health is amazing?
I can understand she being dirty and all. I hated how it was shown and directed on screen. The director obviously went for "disgusting image" rather than just being dirty for not having energy to clean up.
Stop being offended for others, specially a fictional character.

Not all of them no. I like it when kdrama try new things for Kdrama evolution and these come naturally and feel normal. But I don't enjoy a Kdrama made in the global mold, these come out like a hit or miss hybrid. I agree with Youn YuhJung "There have always been good movies and dramas in Korea." So I don't think think Squid Game is a the best Kdrama I've seen.

Is this a weirdo kdrama for new global attention or a usual good kdrama for koreans and fans?

I'm fine with all the disorders but she would jump into a trash can and still not wash up after. That really bothered me. I don't think it served the story anything to be like that. She could've had any other disorder, or even if she doesn't shower, there is no need to dump her in trash and still not clean her up.

I am here to rant. The story and all is good, still watching. But did she had to be VERY unhygienic? Disgustingly unhygienic? I understand it's to give the character an identity. But it was a bad taste one that served the story nothing.

That's exactly what it looked like lmao. The lake was completely dried and something was in the center of it. Which looked exactly like what she threw there. I wonder if the police would take her as the killer.

ofc ratings for this would be only 7+ but something very mainstream obvious story gets higher ratings.
I personally find this a piece of art. Life choices, motherly sacrifices, marriage trust, toxic and unhealthy relationships and old mistakes this drama discuss all of that.
I loved the main lead facial expressions. Shows her inner conflicts very well. When she's with her kids her face lights up. When she's with her in law she's pretentious and when she's with her friend her face is completely at ease. I love it. I am sure she was casted for this talent in this drama. Actually everyone did a good damn job in acting in it.

The show was amazing until episode 8 then it took a weird direction? Why bring all these nasty humans? I am feeling conflicted.

I don't remember the episodes now. But the real culprit will be known then.

I finished it but rated 4 just for the secondary couple. Main couple was just not working for me. I understand they wanted 2 awkward people to be in a relationship and be cute and all. But honestly... they talk like they're elementary school kids most of the time. It was frustrating to watch.

Boring tbh. Secondary couple was the only thing that kept me going.

This drama started slow and boring. But a good plot twist turned the whole thing around. It's very good!
