Why did I watch the last episode? Why couldn't I just skip the last episode? The drama was great until then!! Who made the last episode and thought it was a good idea?? A way to ruin a whole drama!!?! What??
Edit: Ok since it's historically correct I don't mind all the misfortune that happened. But I still can't forget how she told him she never liked him when she was on her death bed..... No one should do that fgs...
tbh the "Death" of some characters were not even their "Deaths" so they carried w many of the SAME CHARACTERS…
I don't disagree with this. My problem is that to me as a viewer watching a character "dies" then comes back because "LOL GOTCHA I WAS PLAYING DEAD" or as a doppelganger was not really the best experience. It was fine when it happened the first time. But repeating the concept over and over? Nah, not ok.
I gave this 9 after the first watch. Now I am thinking of lowering after rewatching it xD What's wrong with the writers and the whole cast crew? Did they feel it was ok to play dead over and over and pose as different characters again and again?
Im usually the type who drop the series if they change the lead roles but this show is too good to drop for this…
I love SJK but does HE wants to continue with the project? It's been cancelled over and over. I'd rather have the show again than waiting forever. LJK is an awesome actor. The show won't suffer because of him.
Looks interesting but I'm not sure if I should watch... being on Netflix with 12 episodes means only one thing…
I completely understand you there since I would hate it if Korea starts making American style shows but this? I think it's fully Korean style one. Watch it, you'll love it. Even if this show gets a second season, it will be completely different cast and settings maybe except for 4 people max. Even if they did and you don't feel like watching it you can just skip because these 12 episodes give you a complete story. Also 12 episodes are not a new thing to Kdrama, just not usual. I wouldn't put that as a measure if they're good or not as long as story is not global-attention-thirsty type of plot.
This drama was good but not too memorable imo. If you read all the 10/10 reviews in here and expect a masterpiece,…
I respect your taste and idea about it but that doesn't mean the reviews giving it a 10/10 are wrong. It is a masterpiece for someone like me. I give it 9/9.5. You say it covered ghosts and death which is right but it did not feel like that at all. For me it covered living, search for happiness and contempt, seeking closures, dealing with people in need of closure. It's honoring these who died missing and forgotten.
Is the fact that Thomas said he wouldn't have been allowed to join the military back when he was alive meaningful…
He did not say he was not allowed to join the military, actually there was none except the Japanese one. He said he was a black sheep in his rich family, he did not study abroad and he sold their lands to support liberation army. He said he was surrounded by the enemies and pretended to be drinking and gambling. Which means his family was from the families that supported the Japanese colony. But he wanted a Korean country and independence.
I was very excited for it. But I couldn't get pass episode 3.. I don't think the genre suites me. The main character had a second personality right? I hated it lol I might it give it another chance later. Generally though, it did not feel like it's my type of kdrama.
How did people reached that conclusion? The grandmother/mother said she met him not long ago in the present days…
It feels stupid specially that NHD broke up with him because her support isn't reaching to him and then still lived a good life. If you cut your support from a loved one then they go and commit suicide you won't be able to forgive yourself! But she was so in peace with it.
